Glee! Because "Mediocre" Wouldn't Sell as Well.
Please consider this review my Dear John letter to the Glee. I want to love the Glee--I really do--unfortunately it comes up too short in the vibrations arena. This vibe is completely unlike most of the other vibrators that I own, in that most of the other vibrators I own can get me off.

Pros
Very pretty, resistant to thermal shock, body safe.
Cons
Weak vibrations, matte texture, no storage bag
Glass toys have somewhat of a siren call for me. They are so pretty usually, can be warmed up or cooled down for temperature play, are nonporous (multiple partners, germ free, and easy to clean—-hells yes), and are heavy and unyielding (that might just be a “me thing” though). This is my second attempt to follow that siren lure to bliss—glee, even—and my second time crashing my ship to doom.
The Glee is a g-spot, glass vibrator manufactured by Doc Johnson. The packaging is quite pretty actually; paisley designs of pink, purple, and red. The packaging has social media contact info for Doc Johnson, including Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. The box gives a advertising blurb on the back. I wouldn’t say the packaging is “discreet.”
This toy arrived with the exterior brown packaging pretty banged up and the product box in a similar condition. The clear window had deep scratches where the glass toy had banged around and the Glee itself had some visible damage. Much to my—dare I say it—glee, the scratches rubbed out with a touch of water and a soft sponge. I am comfortable venturing a guess that this is due in no small part to the amazing glass that Doc Johnson used. The glass that Doc Johnson used is called borosilicate, which is formed with silica and boron oxide. Some research was necessary for this review, I fully admit to Wikipedia’s help with this article. According to the article, borosilicate glass is very resistant to thermal expansion. That resistance spells out temperature play for you, which is one of the few saving graces to this toy.
Besides the durable, body-safe glass, there are a few other good things that I want say about this toy. It’s a very attractive toy; hot pink, jewel-toned, and frosted glass with a slick curve. I was excited about this toy when I watched the sneak-peak video, actually. The only other glass I own is too textured for my comfort, so the sleek design of this one as a contrast appealed to me. The frosted glass exterior though has a lot of drag to it and that was only aided by way more lube than I am used to using and more than I thought should be necessary.
The Reflections Glee is 6.5 inches and 5 inches of that are insertable. It has a slightly rounded tip for g-spot stimulation. I found the tip to be too pointy and tapered for happy stimulation for me, but it may just push your buttons in a way it didn't push mine.
Speaking of buttons, the Glee has only one. So no sudden off switch, which is fine by me but some people prefer and on/off as well as a settings button. As for the vibrations themselves, "mediocre" is the word I would go with. It has three settings (low and steady, medium long pulsations, high and steady) and none of them are really enough to stir up any kind of glee for me.
As far as cleaning, this toy is waterproof and soap and water should be fine but I'd recommend taking out the batteries and replacing the cap before submerging it in water. A 10% bleach, 90% water solution spray would also be fine, just make sure you wipe it up well.
Between the frosted glass drag and the extremely mild vibrations, I think I'd have been more satisfied just watching the show of the same name.

Thank you for viewing Reflections glee – g-spot vibrator discontinued review page!
Anyways, very nice, to the point job on this. Very informative! I have an extra question though... as far as G-spot stimulation goes, how well would you say this one does? I'm assuming it didn't provide anything mind blowing here. Lol.
Thanks for reading!
