G-spot ridges
I bought this as one of my first vibrators, and ten years later, I still use it. I've even bought a new one, to replace the old one that died. I love it for insertion--the ridges are great for G-spot stimulation. It's waterproof. I hate how the battery changing mechanism is all jumbled together with the power dial. It's incredibly easy to clean.

Pros
Easy to clean. Waterproof. Excellent ridges for G-spot stimulation.
Cons
Changing the batteries is an awkward affair. Goes through batteries very quickly.
I LOVE how easy this thing is to clean. It's a hard plastic, useful for insertion as well as surface sensation, waterproof, and cleans just beautifully. I tend to use it when I'm either already in bed or in the shower. If I'm in the shower, I just rinse it off right there. If I'm in bed, I usually wipe it off thoroughly with a toy-cleaning wipe or a tissue, and then take care of it, again by washing with soap and water, in the morning.
This is one of the first vibrators I ever bought, and I still have it, and still use it. I bought it originally for the dual-purpose of it. I ended up using it almost exclusively for insertion, while I use another vibrator or my hand for clitoral stimulation. I particularly appreciate the ridges on the toy for the additional sensation to the G-spot during insertion. Goosebumps galore.
It's quiet, which is a good thing. It has a variable speed, controlled by the dial on the base. One thing I didn't like is turning it off, unscrewing it to replace batteries, and turning it on are all very jumbled with the dial base. Theoretically, there's a cap on the base that you unscrew to change the batteries, and there's a dial on the end of the cap that you use to turn it on, off, or adjust the vibration. Doesn't work that smoothly in reality. Half the time, when I was changing the batteries, I'd turn it on, and when I wanted to turn it on, I'd unscrew the whole thing. It's a bit frustrating. Thankfully, when it's on, it's on, and you don't have to worry about anything but the batteries dying! Unfortunately, it goes through batteries pretty darned quickly. Keep a few AA's on hand.
It's not the most powerful vibrator, so it works well for a larger variety of people. For the way I use it, yeah, having something less powerful than say, the Hitachi Magic Wand, is a useful thing. I don't want a vibrator that's going to make my whole pelvis go numb. Plus, again, if I am using my hand for clitoral stimulation, I can always pull the Turbo Glider out, and use it for clitoral stimulation for a while, and then switch back. It's a broadly useful toy. I have a lot of fun with it.

Experience
As I said before, I'm a big fan of using this vibrator as a vibrating insertion toy, while I use a different vibrator or my hands for clitoral stimulation. That's a particularly nice feature if you're in the bathtub, since it's waterproof. Use the vibrator as an insertion toy, and the shower head for the clitoral stimulation.

I like pretty much all the Turbo Glider vibes. The Blueberry and the Raspberry are still my favorites.
It takes a while for me to reach orgasm, so the battery starting to weaken and the vibe starting to fade after about twenty minutes was disappointing. However, I've discovered that I really enjoy using it as an insertable, either on or off, and using another vibe on my clitoris. It's a hell of a lot of fun to use with a partner, to make the sliding in and out easier. The combination of the two is just mind-blowing. I literally go from orgasming in thirty minutes with just clitoral stimulation to orgasming in about five minutes with movement as an insertable combined with clitoral stimulation.

This is a highly recommended vibrator by EF reviewers. Your review may not be as glowing as some, but you seem to enjoy the vibe as well. How long do you figure it goes on one set of batteries? Just an hour, or maybe two? Was the second one you got any different from the first? Thanks for the review.

They both lasted a little over an hour. I THINK the second one lasted a bit longer. Now I have to go check!
