The Lia G Bliss is an awesome little G-spot vibe from California Exotics. It’s silicone, waterproof and is packed with 10 different vibration settings. It’s powered by a single AA and has easy-to-understand light-up controls. This is a great toy for the price!
The Lia G Bliss is a great, simple silicone G-spot vibe that is packed with 10 different vibration functions. The G Bliss is on the smaller side so it’s very non-threatening and would make a fabulous starter toy for those interested in G-spotting. It’s also waterproof and can spice up your “you” time in the bath or shower and the price is sure to please everyone.
This toy is made for vaginal use and can be used on the clitoris too, but I would not recommend this toy for anal use due to a lack of a flared base.
The shaft of the G Bliss is made from a smooth, matte silicone and the cap where the controls are located is made of ABS plastic. Both of these materials are body-safe and are non-porous so they should not harbor any harmful bacteria as long as the surface of the toy is cleaned properly. The silicone does have a little bit of a drag to it but doesn’t collect lint too badly, it’s is not as bad as other silicone toys from California Exotics and Jopen that I have encountered. I was actually able to use this toy a few times without needing a lubricant, but I know that’s not always going to be the case. Since this toy is silicone I would recommend using water-based lube only. Silicone-based lubes can potentially have a bad reaction with silicone toys and damage the finish of the material.
The G Bliss is a curved G-spot vibe that measures a total of 6 ½ inches long with 4 ½ of it being insertable. The circumference of the shaft averages between 3 and 3 ½ inches because of the ridges that are on it. The ridges are rather mild and I didn’t feel them much once the toy was inserted. They are very smooth and they aren’t in any way uncomfortable especially because this toy is not very thick.
The toy is made out of silicone but there is a hard inner core in this toy that makes it mostly rigid. There is a little bit of flexibility in the curved tip but it’s still firm enough to apply pressure to the G-spot. The curved tip isn’t too extreme and I feel it should be very comfortable and not overwhelming for those who are new to G-spot stimulation. The end of the tip is rounded and didn’t feel jabby or uncomfortable while thrusting.
The G Bliss is powered by a single AA that’s inserted under the twist cap on the base.
The toy is controlled by 2 buttons. The first button is the power button and has the universal power symbol on it. The second button controls the vibration setting and has an image of a sine wave (squiggly line) on it.
To turn the toy on you just press the power button once and the toy will start up at the lowest vibration setting. To change the vibration level you then press the function button.
While the toy is on the controls will be backlit and will blink and pulsate with the vibrations. It’s a nifty little extra that’s really nice for me because I’m a visual person and this adds to my experience.
Also, this toy is so quiet, I'd say it's between only 1 and maybe 2 bees. It's the quietest vibe I now own.
To turn the toy off at any time just press the power button and you’re good to go. It’s very nice having a dedicated power button and not having to cycle through all the settings to turn the toy off, especially if you’re in a hurry.
The G Bliss is super easy to clean. It’s waterproof so I just spray it down with toy cleaner and rinse it off in the sink. You can also use soap and water or toy wipes if you prefer.
The box that the G Bliss comes in is a clear plastic box that clearly shows the toy and has information about the features and functions printed on all the sides. This box is not at all discreet. The box is small so I’m currently using it as store my toy and it’s not taking up too much space. When you open the box you will find the toy resting in a clear plastic tray along with a little slip of paper that is the instructions.
The instructions are very basic and show how to insert the battery and the power and function buttons. What I think is kind of nice is that there’s a visual guide to the vibration patterns, which I found very useful.
At first I wasn't sure what to expect from the G Bliss and had my doubts, but I was pleasantly surprised! I love how simple this toy is to operate and I’m a sucker for any toy that has lighted parts.
The shaft is a little more on the narrower side so it’s great for getting me warmed up. Once I’m turned on I think I would prefer if the toy were just a little bit larger, but it’s still plenty nice to rock against my G-spot.
I definitely think this is a great little toy. I took a little weekend trip and threw this in my bag, it’s a great size for me to travel with and only needing one battery is nice.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I must say, I'm pretty pleased with Lia G Bliss. I love how simple the controls are and that it only takes one battery. I don't use this toy all the time, but the battery seems to last a while, so that's a plus.
I love that it's compact, while still having a nice, full tip with a G-spot curve and lovely texture. It is my number one go-to toy for traveling, I throw it in my little travel pouch along with a little bottle of lube and a few other goodies, and I'm set.
