Found my new favorite product!
If you're looking for an introduction into electro stimulation or just need a really good shock to the sore muscles and aches and pains, this product is for you! I really enjoy this product for a soothing and relaxing method. You definitely have to pay attention to what setting it is on though or you'll get quite a shock unexpectedly!

Pros
Good for beginners & Advanced, wide variety of intensities & functions, multiple uses
Cons
Price, may be tricky figuring out functions and how control pad works
My wife originally wanted to get this for her aches and pains and maybe a little teasing. I wanted to get this to just have fun with it! I seen this and thought to myself "Oh dear God, the things I could do to make my wife squirm!". I'll admit, I had semi-evil intentions on strapping her into the bondage chair and having my way with this neat product! HA!
The Fetish Fantasy Shock Therapy BDSM kit was somewhat difficult to figure out, but once you learn how to work the controls, you're all set! It comes with the control pack, 4 corded attachments and 4 pads with a thick gel on them. It also comes with the instructions manual. The control pad has so many different buttons and settings, that it may take you a few minutes to figure it out. What we found out was that you HAVE to have all four of the pads touching your body in order for it to work. You cannot just use two of them at once or one or three. All four need to be "in place" before it will send any type of electric shock through.
The pads have a thick, gel like adhesive on them. The gel is not sticky, per se, but it does hold the pad to the skin. When you peel off the plastic covering from the pad, make sure to keep them so that you can put those back onto the pads to keep them from getting dirt, dust or hair on them. This will make the pads go a lot longer before you have to replace them. The gel is a bit cold though, so either "huff" onto them with warm breath or just brace yourself!
Everything is really lightweight and because of the way that you can pack it up, it would easily fit into a zip lock storage bag. We place ours in a lockable sex toy case though, with our other shock therapy items.
There are several different functions on the Shock Therapy kit. You have pulsating and vibrating. There are tons of different variations of these settings as well. They go from very light to extremely intense. Its not "painful" but it does send a very good amount of "buzz" to the skin! I had it on my chest, and I wasn't paying attention to one of the settings. It did its setting for 5 minutes (I believe?) and then it stopped and I thought it was done. Apparently not! Because within seconds, it went to a stronger intensity and was vibrating or pulsating rather fast and and about had me jumping out of the recliner! My wife thought it was funny and I was begging her to turn it off. Ha!
I can see where this may bring pleasure sexually to some, but I would say that those that are just getting into this sort of thing would benefit from the lower levels to start. I think that "building up to" the higher intensities is key when using this though. I have not tried it sexually yet, but will be including that portion of my review in the follow up review shortly.
Obviously, because of the type of product this is, this is NOT waterproof, nor would I suggest using anywhere near any water of any kind. Eden does sell refills (12 pad pack) and also some stimulating gel that helps provide more sensation.

Follow-up commentary
12 days after original review
I have used this product quite a bit more than my wife in the last month or so. I play on two softball leagues and work a full time job, so you can imagine I'm pretty sore come the end of the day. If I wake up tense or need to relax my muscles, I will use this product on a low setting and slowly build up to the more intense ones. It works wonders in a few areas of my back and shoulder or neck areas. That is where its used the most. We haven't really tried this as a "sexual" product yet. My wife is a bit intimidated because of the level of intensity the lower setting has. I guess its just something we'll have to build up to!
