Envie is Excellent (as long as you're not a power-queen)
The Envie Smooth Massager by NS Novelties can be used internally in the anus or vagina, or can be used externally as well. It's a great vibrator and has those rumbly vibrations that I need. Unfortunately, the vibrations just aren't strong enough for a power-queen like myself. I think that most people would be satisfied with the vibration level and settings though. It's a great material, it's waterproof, can be used in a variety of ways, and is very quiet. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Pros
Silicone, easy to use, can be used anally or vaginally, variety of settings/patterns.
Cons
power queens (or kings) won't be fully satisfied.
The Envie Smooth Massager by NS Novelties is available in two colour combinations: black/pink and black/green. I have the black/green Envie. The pink colour combination has a more feminine look while the green has a masculine look. I actually prefer the green one though since I’m not a huge fan of pink toys (I have too many already).
Envie arrived in a rectangular cardboard box. The front of the package has a photo of the product, the product name, company name, and material that the toy is made of. The back has another picture of the toy and states a number of product features. The side of the packaging states the care instructions. This packaging acts as an outer packaging to another box that sits within it.
The inner box looks the same as the outer packaging except you can see the product through the front of the box. The inner box works excellently for storing the item. Inside of the inner box, the Envie sits within foam cut out. Actually, I’m not sure why they even put an outer layer of cardboard packaging. The outer packaging can be recycled (so can the inner box but I use it for storage).
Envie has a silicone body with a ABS (plastic) base. There is no flexibility to the shaft of the vibrator. The shaft is smooth with no texture for the first 3 ½ inches in length. Beneath these 3 ½ inches, there are 8 pronounced ribs for a textured feel. When I rubbed the shaft against my arm, I didn’t experience any drag to the material but if you want to use lubricant with Envie, be sure to use a water-based lubricant only.
I’ve taken a few measurements of the toy but if you need additional measurements, please let me know and I can get them for you.
Total length of insertable portion: 5 ¼ inches
Smooth portion of silicone shaft: first 3 ½ inches
Ribbed portion of silicone shaft (below smooth area): 1 ½ inches
Plastic portion beneath silicone that can be inserted: ¼ of an inch
Circumference of shaft: 3 ¾ - 4 ½ inches
Diameter of finger hole at base of toy: approximately 1 inch
Envie has a circumference of 4 ¼ inches at the top portion of shaft. At the centre of the shaft, the circumference is 3 ¾ inches. The last part of the insertable area is the ridged area, which has the largest circumference of 4 ½ inches.
With the vibrator having a finger hole at the bottom of the toy, it would be safe to use for anal play if you were to use the finger hole to control the toy. The hole should fit even the thicker of fingers. I can put my thumb through the hole and there is room to spare. My thumb has a circumference of 2 ½ inches. The toy can also be for insertion into the vagina or used externally to stimulate the clitoris, nipples, etc. The toy is waterproof so it can be brought into the shower or bath as well.
Envie requires 2x AAA batteries, which are not included. The battery compartment is very easy to access. The compartment is accessed by twisting off the base of the toy (the finger hole loop circular area). Just be sure to fully twist the bottom portion back on to the toy before using it in water so that there is no leakage into the compartment.
There is only one button to Envie and it’s located on the side of the finger loop base. It’s a fairly large, green button. This button controls everything that Envy does. To turn the toy on, press the button once. You’ll know that the toy is on because well…1. it vibrates and 2. the bottom portion of the base lights up a neon green colour. It’s actually really cool looking! Below you can see the green button in the first photo, and the second photo shows you the toy when the LED light is on.
When Envie is first turned on, you’re met with a constant low vibration. To cycle through the settings, just press the green button to change to the next setting. Envies 7 settings are as follows:
1. low, constant vibration
2. medium, constant vibration
3. high, constant vibration
4. constant pulsating
5. pulsating- short, short, long and repeat
6. pulsating and escalating- low to high and repeat
7. pulsating- numerous super short pulses followed by a long pulse and repeat
There isn’t a huge difference between the first and third constant vibrations. The first has a vroom rating of probably a 2.5 out of 5 and the third is no more than a 3.5 out of 5.

Experience
...continued
The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy, even the handle. The vibrations are more rumbly than buzzy. The noise level does increase as you increase the vibration speed but at the highest level of vibrations, it’s pretty darn quiet. On the highest setting, the toy cannot be heard from beneath the covers.
To turn Envie off, you just hold the green button down for a couple seconds. When you turn the toy on again, you’ll be met with the very first setting. It does not save the setting you were last on before you had turned it off. Also, if you cycle through the patterns and accidentally press the button to the next setting, you’ll have to cycle through them all again to get back to the one you were on.
I used Envie both internally and externally. I preferred using the toy internally with another toy externally because it wasn’t as strong as I’d like it for clitoral stimulation. I am a bit of a power queen, though most people would find the vibration levels satisfying both internally and externally.
I didn’t have any problem with the texture to the toy when I was using it. The ridges are quite pronounced though so if you don’t like texture to your toys, you may not like the lower part of the shaft.
Cleaning the toy is really simple because it can be fully submerged in water since it is waterproof. Which by the way, I did submerge the toy in water and it works perfectly. You can use toy wipes, soap and water, or a toy cleaning spray to clean the Envie. To sanitize the toy, you can wipe the toy down with rubbing alcohol. If you share the toy with another person, be sure to sanitize it every time between uses or cover the toy with a condom. Also, if you switch from anal to vaginal use, you’ll need to sterilize it before switching holes.
Overall, I think Envie is an attractive toy, easy to use, and has a great variety of settings. It’s also nice that the toy can be used in a variety of ways. Envie won’t be my go-to toy since it doesn’t have the scary amount of a strength that I need but this won’t be the last time we see each other. I would recommend Envie to most people as long as you are not a power-queen (or king).

Follow-up commentary

I hate having to choose whether I "still like it", or, "don't like it any more". It's not a bad toy but it just didn't have the power I needed.
