All in all, this is a great, functional novelty. Yes, it's obvious that it isn't a mascara wand once you look at it up close, but with the cover on, it looks like a regular makeup item, and is great for travel (think: luggage scanners). It can actually be used with the cover on for more insertable length, and it comes with extra batteries. Decadence ripples
