I got this because I was interested in thrusting toys but didn't want to put out the money for a more expensive one having never used a thrusting dong before. This was considerably cheaper than other models, so it was perfect for a beginner into this 'genre' of toys. While it is not the prettiest, I admit, it was a new adventure. It took a few times to get used to using the thrusting function, once you get used to it, it can be used in a variety of ways, the most appealing part being to use a pillow or simlar for leverage against it and let the thrusting action do the work. I think it would be best for solo play, or just a night or time you are tired and want to unwind but don't want to work too hard. The vibrating isn't as strong as I am sure some people would like, but I personally had no problems with clitoral stimulation with this toy. It was a bit noisier than most toys also, but I think with it being a bit more 'mechanical' in nature of functions, that is pretty much to be expected. It is easily maskable by playing music, to be honest. Overall, I enjoyed it enough. I will be saving up to buy a more expensive thrusting toy now that I have tried out the basic idea of what one can do.

The latex is more of a rubbery feel if you are used to buying silicone toys. It didn't smell bad at all, that I noticed, but it is a good idea to wipe before use (always is anyways), more so with this one if you have any slight allergies. I have a slight allergy to certain materials, some trigger and some don't. This one, upon taking it out of the box, did give me a slight irritation on my hands but I washed it and it didn't happen after that, so it's a good idea. The texture doesn't have much to it. It just makes it more realistic and the ribs, if you use it for that, might be good. I am a little smaller, so I didn't get that far.

The size of the toy is not too big, but not too small either. It's pretty much just right. The head is not like some toys where it is hard or uncomfortable. In fact, it is perfect. I think anyone would be okay with using it. Unless you're a timid beginner, it might take some courage to work up to. The toy has an attached control wand, so it's not too easy for discretion and is a bit noisy. It's probably not ideal for travel unless you are going somewhere a little noisy or are able to play music and mask the sounds a bit. The material is a little more realistic than some, if that's an issue.

Again, it's pretty noisy when on the thrusting function. You can turn the thrusting function off, however, and while in its simple vibrating mode it is not much noisier than a regular toy. You can choose how strong the vibrations are as well and they definitely are strong enough to do the trick.

The only care problem I ran into was cleaning the folds where the thrusting function is. However, taking care not to get the battery comparment wet, thrusting it slowly and washing it seemed to work okay. It is latex so using water based lube is best to avoid breaking down of the material and get more use for your money. It is a bit more bulky than most toys because of the control wand (where the batteries also go) but I just keep it in a purple whiskey bag in my drawer, so it's not extremely difficult as long as you have a safe place for your toys.

It came in a plain, purple and clear plastic box. It was pretty self explanatory.
