Whether it be because of comfortability, discreetness, or overall sexy and practical design Dare Devils are definitely worth trying. While results aren't noticed immediately the ease of use and benefits make wearing this product daily a no-brainer.

Pros
Oval shaped for easier insertion, Can be worn comfortably throughout the day
The Dare Devils is a vaginal exerciser made by the Hustler company for strengthening the PC (Pubococcygeus) muscle. The main benefit from working out this muscle is longer more intense orgasms (and who wouldn't want those?). It is basically a set of two weighted balls (about the size and shape of a small egg) seated inside a silicone sleeve that is placed inside the vagina and worn throughout the day. Nothing has to be done by the wearer after insertion as your muscles will do all the work themselves.
Except for silicone tail, which is used for retrieval, this item is fully inserted which means that it is for the most part unnoticeable. You can wear this throughout the day without worry and give your muscles a workout. The package states that for every hour worn, 32 calories are burned.
This product overall is a good introduction for beginners using "ben-wa" balls for the first time. Although the size of these may be a bit large for smaller women and women inexperienced with insertable toys so this may present itself as an issue.
As far as safety precautions, these should not be used in any way but vaginally and because they are silicone only a water based lubricant should be used to help with insertion. They should also be kept away from other silicone toys because silicone toys can react with each other possibly damaging the products.
The weighted balls themselves are encased in plastic and can be removed from the sleeve. This is only recommended when cleaning them before and after use. The sleeve that holds them is constructed of silicone. It is soft yet flexible and had no odor upon opening of the package. The silicone is stretchy enough to easily remove the weighted balls from it, but sturdy enough that there is no fear in tearing it. With a little lube, insertion was easy and the silicone had little drag to it. The silicone was also flexible enough that once inserted the product conformed to her shape, not the other way around.
The package states that the silicone is phthalate-free so women with sensitive skin allergies should have no problem with this product. The silicone can also be fully disinfected by placing in boiling water for 3 minutes.
The only texture to the product is the hearts that are cut out of the silicone exposing the plastic balls inside. This did not factor into feeling any type of textural difference when worn. It also did not make it any difficult to insert the product for use.
The design of Dare Devils is really nice. It comes in two different colors: A red sleeve with black weighted balls and a purple sleeve with metallic silver weighted balls. The sleeve design which has a heart shape cut out of each of the ball holders measures in at around 4 inches of insertable length. The devil shaped tail that is connected to the sleeve and used for retrieval measures around 3 inches long.
The weighted balls are a bit on the large side, but should be no problem with the average user. They are oval shaped (which made for easier/more comfortable insertion) and measure about 1.5 inches long each and about 1.5 inches in diameter. They have a bit of weight to them and could probably be compared to the trackball in a computer mouse.
We thought this toy looked very discreet and could easily be left out in plain view with no worries. This also means that this is definitely suitable for travel.
My wife enjoyed this product very much. While results aren't noticed immediately the ease of use and benefits make wearing this daily a no-brainer. The main points she liked about this product were the oval shape of the balls which made for easier insertion. Most ben-wa balls are round and can be a bit more difficult and uncomfortable to insert. She also like the sturdiness of the silicone. It held the balls in place and there was no fear of them falling out or the silicone tearing. The silicone was also soft and comfortable enough for her to wear it all day and even forget they were in.
Even though the weights have a rattle to them, once inserted neither one of us could hear them make any noise. She felt comfortable wearing them in even the quietest of situations without fear of anyone hearing them.
The only dislike she had was the overall size of the insertable portion. While the balls did fit her comfortably, she felt they could be a bit smaller. She had also heard that some women experience stimulation while wearing this type of product, but she did not.
This item is extremely easy to care for. The plastic weighted balls can be removed from the silicone casing and washed on their own in soap and warm water. The silicone casing can be placed in boiling water for 3 minutes to fully disinfect, but we found that washing them in mild soap and hot water did the trick. Just let both air dry before assembling back together.
As far as compatibility issues with different types of lube, water-based lube is the only one that should be used. Silicone based lube can damage silicone based toys so it is not recommended.
The product can be placed back into its plastic blister package for storage. This will also keep from any unwanted hair or dirt sticking to it when not in use.
The packing was very discreet. It was placed in a plastic blister package (which can be reused for storage) with a black cardboard background. The word "Dare Devils" and "Hustler Toys" were the only noticeable wording on the front. The wording on the back is so small that you wouldn't know what it said unless you went in for a closer look. We really appreciated the classiness of the packaging (kinda strange saying Hustler and classy in the same breath).
Discreet looking packaging
Good for storage
Follow-up commentaryI still like it18 days after original review
My wife still enjoys using these the only thing that has started to bother her is the heart cutouts on the silicone are beginning to catch her upon insertion creating a bit of discomfort. Just be sure to use plenty of lube during insertion to prevent this from possibly happening. Otherwise, still a great product!!
