Crystal HIGH Intensity Bullet: A Shining Silver Bullet to the Rescue
This toy hasn't died on me yet, which I am very excited about. It is dependable. I know what I'm gonna get with it: intense vibrations and an intense orgasm. For this reason alone, it will remain at the top of my toy box. There are some downsides to it, but they are easily overlooked because of its overall performance.

Pros
Intense, small, discreet, reliable, convenient, easy to use, easy to clean
Cons
Rhinestones fell out, buzzy hands from vibrations, battery draining, N batteries
Crystal High Intensity Bullet is definitely my clitoral stimulator of choice. It does a great job stimulating the clitoris, and it also has the range that makes it great for stimulating other erogenous zones (nipples, stomach, testicles, thighs, etc). I would steer clear of the anus though. As a bullet, it is SMALL. There is no flair to keep it from being sucked into your backdoor and owing you a trip to the ER. Oh, and I suppose I should say that I wouldn't find this effective in inserting into the vagina. While you can't LOSE things up there, this wouldn't do the trick if you're trying to work your g-spot (too small to hold onto).
I think this little gem will work well for everyone. It is discreet and small enough for couples to use in foreplay and intercourse. It is just as powerful and fun for solo play. You can use it anywhere you dare to- in the bedroom, driving home from work, etc. It's discreet enough, though you probably couldn't get away with it in a silent, crowded library. You can also use it in the shower, as it is waterproof!
This is smooth and hard plastic. I was a little disappointed. I admit, it didn't feel like metal or steel to me. I don't know why, but the plastic made me feel this toy was cheap and probably wouldn't work well or last long.
...I was wrong, very wrong. Lets call it plastic-discrimination. I ate my own words after just one use! I realized that the plastic was what enabled it to deliver such powerful vibrations. It's a smooth toy, which I felt a bit snobby about too. I thought I'd do better with something velvety that would tug at me a bit. But I realized that without lube, this toy can pull my skin in a good way. With lube (applied or of my own making), it slides so easily over skin and can deliver intense vibrations with quick maneuvering. I think both beginners and advanced users will be satisfied with it.
As a bullet, I like the design. It's simple, small, and discreet. It has a tapered end which is good for pinpointed sensations, and at a high level vibration, it sort of starts writing if you hold it gently enough. I found this amusing!
The toy is incredibly easy to hide, because it's just so discreet. I mean, it's easily mistaken for a tube of lipstick. I had my first accident the other day, leaving it out in the bathroom. I left it in a small bowl with jewelry and knickknacks in it. My parents came over, used the bathroom multiple times, and didn't even notice it (or maybe they just didn't mention it which is entirely possible).
I've thrown it in my purse multiple times; it doesn't really pick up lint unless you've left it with something sticky on it. Just be careful not to pull it out instead of your lipstick!
My biggest issue with the design is actually the little crystals. Three of the crystals have fallen out of the bullet, which is a major bummer. I had a feeling it would happen, since most things with crystal rhinestones in them lose a few over time. I just didn't expect mine would fall out within two weeks of use.
CHIB is relatively easy to use. Push down for vibrations, hold down to increase intensity of vibrations, push down and release quickly to turn off. Pretty easy concept! There is a red indicator light on the push-button to let you know when it is turned on. My boyfriend and I joked that should you lose it inside you somewhere. There would be a red glow to let you know where it's located.
The vibrations can go from low to high and every degree in between. I like mine high, so this baby really didn't let me down on that one. WOW, it was surprisingly intense. The first time I turned it on all the way, it started to clatter against the two rings on my fingers. I knew it would be a winner.
As a bullet, the vibrations are located throughout the entire toy. With its high intensity, this can mean some serious phantom vibrations in your hand after a session. For the enjoyment, I will say a weird-feeling hand for a few minutes is entirely worth it.
As for noise level, it depends on the level you have it at and how hard you have it pressed against something. At its lowest and lightest, it's not very loud at all. At its highest and hardest, it could probably be heard when someone is in the room with you. But it is still discreet enough not to be noticed. This was my experience with someone in another room.
It is supposed to be water proof. Let me talk about batteries first. This uses N-batteries, what a pain in the butt. They are easier than watch batteries to find and buy. The battery compartment is a TIGHT fit, and I have had trouble getting the little N fellow out. Now, I think this may be why the little black O-ring at the bottom of the screw cap, has slipped up from its place. I've pushed it down, no problem, and I have used it in the shower since having it move upward. Obviously, I had to slip it back down in order to properly close the case. There has been no issue with water getting in the battery case. Now, I haven't gone swimming with it or put it totally completely under bathwater. But I do lie down in my shower, and it hasn't acted up on me.
It does run through batteries quickly. Rather than dying on you and flat-lining, the CHIB tends to dull its high vibrations when battery life is draining. This is frustrating, but better than an immediately dead toy. I think if you get this toy and use it a lot, you should invest in a bulk-pack of N batteries. It'll probably be cheaper in the long-run.
Because it is plastic, you cannot sterilize it completely. That said, you should obviously still clean it. I use warm water and soap. This makes it easy to care for. As for storage, you can keep it pretty much anywhere! It's discreet, and won't pick up every lint and dust particle in your purse. But, I would still suggest, of course, giving it a clean before using it.
It is compatible with all lubes, and I think it would be pretty easily used in conjunction with other toys (dildos, cock rings, etc.).
This toy comes in basic packaging: a plastic case that you pry open. It tells you that it is the Crystal High Intensity Bullet, with a larger picture of the bullet behind it (no sexy, breathy women with orgasmic faces). I wouldn't reuse the package, just because it's so much bigger than the bullet. I'd rather just keep the bullet in my purse somewhere.
There is a little description of the bullet on the package but not a lot of instruction or directions. Cal Exotics never seems to give you a lot of info on the toy you have, which is something that bugs me a little bit. The packaging isn't very discreet because you see the bullet in it and there's a big picture of it. I suppose it's more discreet than nudity or pornography.
This toy is INTENSE, like I've mentioned. I just wanted to point that out again. It is so far the only toy I've bought that I've been satisfied with. It is dependable. It hasn't broken, and it is exactly what I want when I reach for a bullet.
Just to give you an idea: my boyfriend took a 10-minute shower. While he was in the bathroom, I got frisky. I couldn't wait, so I pulled out the Crystal High Intensity Bullet. By the time he was out, I had reached orgasm. He saw my expression and started laughing. Then he suggested I try again because he was going to go have a cigarette outside. I wasn't even sure I wanted to give it another shot, because I was so spent, but I knew his cigarette breaks take seven minutes. Two minutes after he stepped out, I decided "What the hell? Why not?". As he opened the door, five minutes after that, I was heaving breathless again. So I will say that this toy gets the job DONE. And for that, I am willing to go out and buy N batteries, miss a few rhinestones, and deal with a "cheap hard plastic" toy.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I still absolutely love this bullet. It has not broken yet, or had any glitches. It is still just as intense as it was the first time I used it! My only complaint is that it's showing some wear and tear- a few of the crystals fell out and the metallic, er.. paint?, has chipped/worn off near the tapered tip of the bullet. Not so sure how safe that is, but I never ended up finding chipped pieces of silvery plastic anywhere (on me, in me, or on the bed). If I get concerned, I'll simply use the bullet through a condom, which easily solves that problem. And, to be fair, I HAVE used this Crystal High Intensity Bullet vigorously and often.
I would even consider buying another one if this one wore out on me in the future! I am very pleased with this gem.
