Cool but no "Zing"
Overall this is a great lube, though the proclaimed "Zing" is lacking. The cooling effect is fantastic. Very long lasting. Worth the money I spent.

Pros
Long lasting, water based, latex & silicone safe.
Cons
Not so great taste, gets thick after prolonged use, no "zing".
I'd used a few other lubes, nothing major or special, the basic ones you can get at grocery stores. So when I decided to try something new and let my husband try his first lube, I went hunting through one of my favorite local shops. I knew ID was a good brand. Many of my friends had used it and recommended their products to me before, ID Glide mostly. I looked at ID Glide and happened to spot ID Pleasure, so of course I picked them up and compared the two.
Noting the ingredients (menthol, ginkgo biloba extract, & red clover) that were supposed to heighten sensitivity, and give you that "Zing" they so proudly have on their label, I decided on ID Pleasure.
On our first date night, I surprised him with it during a slow teasing hand job. As I'd said he'd never before used lube, or anything else (creams, lotions, oils) during masturbation or sex, so this was a new and fun experience for him. Since he had no basis to go off he couldn't really tell me what extra it did for him, aside from the cooling sensation and the extremely slick feeling.
So of course it was my turn to try it. He, again never using it before, poured a bit much on his fingers and began rubbing and massaging my clit. I too noticed the obvious cooling sensation from the menthol and a slight sensitivity boost but no tingling, no "buzzing" and definitely no "Zing". While I do still like this lube, aside from the cooling effect of the menthol, it’s not much different than ID Glide.
It’s still clear, odorless, water based, and stain free. I do like that its silicone and latex compatible, as well as a long lasting for our tireless romps. Though it claims it’s unflavored it does have a bit of a spice to it. I don't recommend it for oral fun. Though it’s not a spermicide, we have reduced our use of it to nearly none for safety sake while attempting pregnancy.
I would read the ingredients carefully if you have sensitive skin/body, or very specific allergies. This does contain glycerin, ginkgo biloba extract, red clover extract, and menthol. I've also read up on it on a few other sites. And while my bottle doesn't list it, a few sites do that, this contains L-Arginine which has been known to trigger herpetic outbreaks in persons with the infection.
On a side note, for those unsure of their allergies towards certain things including lubes, I suggest ID Moments this one does contain L-Arginine but is free of Paraben free, Glycerin free, and is hypoallergenic.
