Using nipple clamps can be intimidating for the inexperienced. Keep a few key things in mind:

1. These clamps are adjustable, so start with what you are comfortable with.
2. If it hurts, or won't stay on, try clamping more skin instead of loosening the clamp.
3. Removing clamps can often be more painful than when you first put them on!
4. Clamps are by their nature cutting off circulation. Take care in how long you wear them.

If you are standing while wearing these, I recommend stringing a ribbon or piece of string through the middle of the chain and looping it over a hook on the wall or in the ceiling. This will help to keep the clamps from slipping off by virtue of the weight of the chain. It is also fun to toy with the end of the rope, strategically tugging on the clamped points, and then releasing. You can do this solo, or with a partner.

These clamps will probably not stay in place while engaged in any vigorous activity.

The clamps themselves are lined in rubber. This helps them to cling to the skin, and means that they will be neither overly cold nor hot upon first applying them.

The part that you pinch to open the clamps can be bent if excessive force is used. That said, I've had these clamps for several years now, and they're in fine condition.

The chain is metal, naturally, so take temperature into consideration. It will be very cold upon its initial touch, unless care is taken to warm it in advance. The chain has a satisfying weight to it, enough that there is no mistaking this for cheap silver-gilt plastic.

These clamps are adjustable, from insanely tight to barely-there. I like that you can detach the clit clamp from the nipple clamps, as the clit clamp may not be appropriate for all scenarios, positions, or individuals.
