I think this toy would be best for beginners. It isn't intimidating and it is pretty easy to use, with one button to immediately turn it on and off and another button to switch through the seven variating pulsations if offers. The pulse isn't too powerful, but still gets the job done. The best use would be masturbation, but it has many different pulsation options and couples could make use of it for teasing or just mutual enjoyment. It can be held easily, has no smell, and is (mine, at least) a bright orange, but it also comes in blue and purple. It's waterproof and I could, therefore, clean it very easily with soap and warm water. It's sort of bulky, and larger than I thought it would be. I prefer toys that can be hidden easily when packing and while this could be hidden away, there's little chance for anyone mistaking what it is when they see it! Here's the size and weight info:

Overall, I liked it and plan on keeping it, but wouldn't consider it my "go-to" toy. I prefer a more powerful vibration, and it took me much longer to finish than it does with other toys. However, I can imagine that with a partner the option to change the vibration pattern would be appealing. If it isn't slippery enough for your needs, silicone lube can be used with it. The material on the top is TPR, which is pretty comfortable against the genitals. It takes two AAA batteries and even has a light in it (which confused me, but it could double as a flashlight if you lose power during sex!).

This toy just wasn't powerful enough for me, which may not be everyone's experience with it! I really liked that it had so many settings, but in the end no setting was right, and I found I appreciate a true blue intense setting that doesn't change pace or anything. That, and the bulkiness. made it sort of awkward to hold, so it moved to the back of the drawer in favor of smaller, easier, and more direct toys.
