Pros
Size is small and discreet. Medium intensity, cute design.
Cons
packaging was a little confusing to open. Noise is a little loud for the size.
The Bottle Rockets Orion has many uses. It can be used as a small vibrator or as a stimulation tool. This toy is small enough that it won't get in the way during partner sex. It will easily stimulate the clitoris, penis, nipples ect. Whereever you can think of stimulating, this toy will do the job. It has just the right contours to fit every nook and cranny. The rounded head is perfect for hitting your g-spot. This is a good beginners toy, it isn't too intense and is just the right size for travel.
The Bottle Rockets Orion is made of a hard smooth plastic. There is no give to this vibe, it is not flexible at all. It has some slight ridges, that kind of remind me of the lines on a pumpkin. The ridges go from the base to the head of the vibrator. Although the ridges are there, I feel that they are more for looks than feel because I couldn't feel them when inserted. This toy has no taste, nor order to it. The texture is great for beginners seeing as you don't feel them when inserted, but feel great while stimulating.
I love the design of the Bottle Rockets Orion. It is about 4 1/2 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter. The small ridges that run from base to tip are amazing for stimulating the clitoris and nipples, you can distinctively feel every ridge. Upon insertion you can't tell they are there though, making this a great starter toy. This toy is great for on the go use, it will easily fit in any purse or even in a pocket. The size also makes this toy great for partner play. Its small enough that it doesn't get in the way.
The Bottle Rockets Orion vibrator is simple and easy to use. It runs off on one AA battery. I left the battery in the toy and still haven't removed it after a few days and it hasn't depleted the vibrations at all. So I think its safe to say that this toy isn't going to eat your batteries. However it isn't in any way recommended that you leave the batteries in the toy due to possible corrosion and damage that it might due to the toy. The vibrations are mainly concentrated on the head of the vibrator but can be felt throughout the entire vibe. The vibrations are about a medium on the intensity level. The Orion has only one speed, which are turned on by a convenient button located on the bottom of the vibrator. The button is a little touchy, and can be easily turned off and on, so stay clear of the button while in use. I fully submerged this vibe in water and it came out just fine, it didn't seem to hinder the performance in the slightest. I found this toy to be a bit noisy for the size. It can be easily heard through blankets and can still be heard with background noise. I did notice that when submerged in water that this is fairly quiet though.
This vibe is extremely easy to care for. Because it isn't silicone you won't be having any dust or hair sticking to it. It can be easily cleaned with your favorite toy cleaner or mild soap. Just add your cleaner/soap, run under warm/hot water and roll in your hands. Its that easy. I store this toy in its original packaging, which seems to work out great, and where it doesn't eat batteries, I can leave the battery in during storing it and its always ready to go.
The packaged that the Bottle Rockets Orion came in is very cute. It comes in a case that looks similar to a beer bottle only smaller. It includes a metal bottle cap on top of the bottle with the Evolved logo on it. This would make for a great gift in this package. Its very original. There isn't a huge description that comes with the toy, just a brief description of where you can use it and the noise level ect. it comes printed right on the bottle. I found opening the Bottle Rockets to be a little confusing. I attempted to remove the cap, not sure why because there is no way the vibe would fit through where the cap is. The bottom conveniently unscrews and the vibe is connected to the bottom base. Just remove the vibe from the base, there is nothing holding it in.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it10 months after original review
I still like my Orion, but I don't use it as much. I do keep it in my collection though for when the need arrives to travel Orion's belt.
