Bigger Is Not Always Better
Kegel balls are a great vaginal exerciser, but always be aware of the size and weight combinations in relation to your body type. What works for some will not work for others.
Published:
Pros
Silicone, smooth, easy to clean and use
Cons
Large, not for all body types, requires lube
The intended use of these is as a vaginal exerciser, but they are definitely meant for a certain type of woman, and I am not that woman. I'm always interested in Kegel balls, trying out different variations of the exercisers with different weights. For this reason, I was willing to take a try on these, but I should have been warned off by the size.
The three balls make up an insertable length of 7", with a 5 1/2" circumference. There was no way I was going to be able to utilize all three balls at once, but it took me enormous difficulty to even get one in - and that was only with the help of a whole lot of lube. Removal was also a bit of a tense situation, as I had to tug on the ball to make it past my pelvic floor. If you are of a smaller shape, or your vagina is already tight, these will not be comfortable. Because of this, I'll be going back to my smaller sets of Kegel balls and leaving these in the unused toys pile.
If the size does not deter you, there are definitely some advantages to the balls. First off, they're made of silicone, which is my preferred material type. Smooth, without any rough seams to get in the way, they are also hypo-allergenic, latex-free, phthalates-free, and non-porous. The balls can all be removed, so the entire toy is very easy to clean. Plus, the retrieval cord is thick, so you can get a good grip when you're ready to remove them. So, if you're in the market for Kegel balls that are a bit larger than average, these are a great choice. However, if you're a beginner or of smaller frame, I would say go for another (smaller) set instead.
