Better Than Chocolate, jewelry and maybe even shoes!
The perfect size and not intimidating at all considering how high-tech it is. It's definitely Better Than Chocolate and without the guilt.
Published:
Pros
Small, discreet size, ergonomic shape, body safe material, waterproof, unique design.
Cons
Could use a few more functions.
The Better Than Chocolate was the perfect choice for me, a semi-newbie to the sex toy world that prefers clitoral stimulation and visually appealing toys.
The first thing that grabbed my attention was the design, an innovative shape that is designed to fit perfectly against the body and in your hand, using the smaller end for pinpoint clitoral stimulation and sensual vibrations on any other part of your body. The size, which was a bit smaller than I expected (4.5"), makes it very easy to handle and store. And since I'm talking about visual appeal, I have to add that the packaging is also a plus. It comes in a high-quality, reusable storage box (no plastic) with an additional velvety drawstring pouch, both which can easily be displayed without being obvious.
Now let's talk about the fun stuff, the technology that truly makes this toy Better Than Chocolate. I'll start at the beginning, the batteries. The Better Than Chocolate takes two AAA batteries which are inserted by unscrewing the end that your hand rests on. The cap has a rubber seal that makes the toy waterproof when it's closed correctly (another bonus!).
Next is learning to master the controls, the on/off button and the touch-sensitive "slide" which is flush with the rest of the toy making it easy to slide your finger up and down to control the intensity and modes. Once the toy is switched on it automatically starts vibrating in it's most intense mode. You can adjust the intensity by sliding your finger down (slower) and up (faster). Since it's touch-activated (and quite sensitive), I started getting a little confused when it was switching modes and I wasn't aware of what I was actually doing to make it switch, but after a few minutes of playing around I figured it out and am now a control master. There is a small icon at the very top of the slide, by holding your finger there for about 2-3 seconds you'll be able to switch to two other modes which are pulsating, both of which you can adjust the intensity by sliding your finger up and down again. Once you find the desired speed and mode, you touch the opposite end of the slide for 2-3 seconds and it will "lock" the unit, making sure you don't accidentally switch the mode in the heat of the moment (are we keeping track of bonuses here?)
When the Better Than Chocolate was at it's highest speed it was very powerful, yet definitely not overbearing. I didn't really feel the need to slow it down, however, the slower intensity would probably be perfect for breast play or stimulation on any other part of the body. There also wasn't much vibration on the end that you hold the toy from which is perfect because no one likes numb hands, am I right? As far as noise, I thought it was rather quiet, but my husband made a comment about how loud it was, so I'm a little in-between on that one. Since I'm always right, I'll go with quiet.
Last but certainly not least, I'm in love with the material of the Better Than Chocolate! In the booklet it says that "skin-friendly materials are used", materials such as thermoplastic elastomer and polycarbonate, but since I'm not up on my material lists, this wouldn't mean much unless I researched what those names mean. In simple terms, I can explain it by saying it feels like a hard iPhone skin, if that makes sense. To clean it, we used warm water and soap as suggested and packed it away in it's pouch until next time, which is right now, see ya later!
