The Cleopatra Clip is novelty jewelry for the vaginal area. You clip it over the labia and two small beads hang down from below. Ideally, it should also cause stimulation to the area by putting pressure on the clitoral region. It can be used by beginners and can be worn under clothes.
The clamping portion of the jewelery is metal and has a gold finish. I am not a fan of gold, so this was a slight disappointment. I purchased the clear version, and the balls look like crystals but are made out out plastic. The clip is smooth and hard but able to be opened in order to clamp it around the labia.
I was extremely disappointed to find out that the clips did not work for me. I had a difficult time putting it on, and I had a difficult time taking it off. The clips pinched while I wore them no matter how much I adjusted them, and pinched more when I moved. No matter what I did, the clamps felt like clothespins. Maybe it is supposed to hurt, but it isn't marketed as a BDSM product.
I tried adjusting the clamp a few times, and tried attaching it from many different angles. I ended up deciding that pulling my labia through the center portion of the clip as the best way to get it on. It was not painful to pull the labia through except when I got to the bottom. At the bottom I had to open the clamp to get the bottom portion of my labia in it. That is when the pain kicked in.
The clamp measures 3 inches long with space for the labia in the top 2 1/4 inches. The bottom 3/4 inch clamps completely shut to hold the jewelry in place. After using it, I measured my labia and they were a little over 2 1/2 inches. I felt vindicated for figuring out why I was having such a problem. I was too big. If I just clamped the portion of my labia that would fit, the clamp would just slide right off because I had not put all of it in there.
Once I got them on and learned to smile through the pinch, I was further disappointed to see my sweety's face when he saw the jewels.
"You look like you have balls. That is not attractive to me."
Since my goal was to turn my sweety on and not torture my labia, the Cleopatra Clip has been an ultimate failure.
The clip can be worn under a narrow thong to only expose the hanging jewels.
I am unshaven and had no problem with the clip getting snagged in my hair.
I did not use lube with the clip but did not have problem sliding my labia in, rather I had problems with it fitting.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it4 months after original review
I bent the clip trying to make it a little wider to fit my clit. Now it won't stay on. It's a good thing I wasn't ever planning on wearing it again. This piece of jewelry was a huge painful disaster that I would like to forget happened.

Thank you for the good review.
No i don't want balls either!

It clips around the clit. When it fits, the jewels dangle seductively underneath. The clit should fit inside of the opening so that there is no discomfort while holding securely.

EEEEK I've thought about getting some of these, but none sound like they would be good. Too bad because they are cute. Thanks for the review!

I would have had no idea how to wear this, much less that it would pinch so badly without your review. Thanks!
