G-spot vibrator discontinued

Beautiful and strong but buzzy and loud

This is a cleverly designed toy with strong vibrations. It's just unfortunate that they chose to use a motor with buzzy vibrations, which will not work for all women. If that works for you and you don't mind a toy that is a bit loud, this could be a nice product.

Use

The Multi-position 5.3 is unique in that it can be swiveled to have either a C or an S shape. It has several intensity levels and patterns and is reasonably strong too. For those who like this adaptability and are ok with buzzy (small back and forth movements) vibrations, this could be a good choice.

Material / Texture

Half of this vibrator is plastic, while the business end is covered in silicone. The side of the silicone end that will be in contact with you has small ridges to add to sensation. There is quite a bit of drag with this silicone, more than is typically present.

It has no scent or taste.

Design / Shape / Size

The 5.3 is nine inches long and the end is five inches in circumference at the widest point. Seen from the end, it has a circular shape.

The entire toy is a deep, rich purple color that is quite attractive. It is completely hard and unbendable, except for the swivel feature.

The unique feature of this vibrator is that it can be turned along the axis of its center. The product packaging says it can assume four different configurations, but in reality only the C and S shapes will likely be useful. The two positions halfway between these shapes might hit against your thigh during use. Or perhaps it you use this vibrator clitorally, they could be of use.

Here it is in comparison with the Smooth S Shape, another S-shaped toy.

The C shape is best when this toy is used for G-spot stimulation, while the S shape works well when this toy is used in conjunction with oral.

The end opposite the silicone half is where the controls are. They consist of a + and - button that are flush with the surface and are reminiscent of MiMi's buttons, although they are easier to press.

The 5.3 is easy to hold and manipulate.

The 5.3 comes with a storage pouch that is nicely made. It in fact is exactly like the storage pouch for Lelo Olga, a stainless steel luxury toy, except that it is longer. The pouch is made of two layers of sturdy, thick silk satin and closes with a drawstring.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The 5.3 has five levels of vibration and three patterned modes. The patterns are

-slow pulses
-fast pulses
-three short and one long pulse

Press the plus button to turn it on. Additional presses move it through the five steady vibration levels, then on to the three patterned vibration modes. Once you've reached the last vibration mode, pressing the plus button does nothing. In order to turn it off, you will need to press the minus button eight times. There is no way to quickly turn it off.

It takes two AA batteries, which are included. And they're Duracell batteries, not an off-brand.

During use, I found that I couldn't always manage the buttons, which are facing away from you. I felt the need to pull it out and see the buttons to know where to press. While each button has the plus or minus symbol indented into it, this can't be easily felt during use.

This vibrator works nicely as a clitoral vibe too. The only problem with that is that this vibe is LOUD. When using this clitorally nothing muffles the sound. You will need pretty loud music to cover it's sound.

While 5.3's vibrations are reasonably strong, they are also buzzy. I usually require deep vibrations. I was only successful with this product once after trying multiple times. But for many women, buzzy vibrations aren't a problem (hence the success of Ina.) For these women, the 5.3 will be terrific. It does have an excellent shape and is quite strong.

I had thought that with its excellent shape that it would work without vibrations. For some reason I wasn't successful with it that way either.

5.3 is also a bit noisy when set on the highest vibration mode. You will definitely need loud music to cover the sound that this product makes if others are in the house.

Care and Maintenance

The 5.3 is an easy care product. It is water resistant. Just wash it off and towel dry it after use. Use only water based lubricants with it to not damage the silicone end. Store it in the included silk pouch.

Packaging

The packaging for the 5.3 is quite elegant. I was surprised at how nice it was. It comes in a shimmery purple box with a clear window that allows you to see the product. Inside is a plastic insert to hold the vibrator in place. The insert also holds the two batteries and the storage pouch.
