The Basic Essentials Slim Softee is best suited for external and internal vaginal stimulation. The vibrations of this toy would also work well for stimulating any other erroneous zones, teasing nipples, inner thighs etc... I would not recommend using this toy anally due to the fact there is no flared base and it's smaller size. Due to the smaller size of this toy I think this vibe would be best for someone looking for their first vibe, or someone wanting a very slim toy for insertion.

This vibe is made from hard clear plastic with a sleeve made of TPR covering it. The sleeve itself is soft and forgiving, with the stability of a hard plastic vibe underneath. Upon opening the package it had a slight smell from the TPR, but after a few washes the smell has dissipated a bit.

I like the design of this vibe, with the curved head of the sleeve and the slight ridges of the shaft. The curved head does provide great G-Spot stimulation but I found the ridges difficult to feel while inserted due to the small size of this vibe. This vibe is 6 1/2 inches long with an insertable length of 5 1/2, with a circumference of about 3 1/2 inches at the thickest part of the shaft. This vibe would be great for a beginner, and I wish they would make one with the same sleeve in a larger diameter.

Due to the small size of this vibe it is very easy to hide and would make for a good travel vibe since you could throw it in your purse or travel bag easily.

This multi-speed vibe is powered by two AAA batteries, controlled by the twist control at the bottom of the vibe. The vibrating bullet of this vibe is located at the top of the vibe, the vibrations travel well along the whole toy, but in the same note it does not provide pinpoint stimulation, more of an all over vibration.

When you first take the cap off the bottom of this vibe there is a cardboard insert showing you which way to insert the batteries. My first use I took this insert out and used the vibe and noticed that the batteries vibrated annoyingly loud inside the vibe. I put the cardboard insert back in and replaced the batteries and this helped tremendously with the noise of the batteries and still functioned properly. This toy also works just as well in the shower or tub, with no water leaking in around the base.

The Basic Essentials Slim Softee is made of TPR which is a semi-porous material, you cannot boil or bleach this material to sanitize. To clean either wash with anti-bacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner, and since this toy is waterproof clean up is a breeze. Water and silicone lube is compatible with TPR and plastic so your have your choice of either if you use this vibe with our without the sleeve. I found that the original packaging that this vibe came in is excellent for storing.
