Ako is a great little toy. Not to big, but not to small, it's easy to use and pretty discrete. Between the soft texture, curved shape, and multiple settings, it's a fun little toy. While some may need stronger vibrations, Ako should be good for most users.
Picobong Ako by Lelo is a clitoral vibrator, but works great for other parts of the body from legs to neck. There are enough settings to fit any mood, operated by three control buttons, and powered by two AAA batteries. While it's great to use alone, Ako would work well as a couples toy as the slight curve fits nicely against the body and would make it easy to hold between partners.
The toy is cute and easily operated, making it great for beginners, but the range of settings, great shape, and multiple vibration levels would be a great addition to a seasoned users collection as well. The size would be easy enough to travel with, and Ako only requires two triple A batteries so you're not searching for any hard to find power source when you forget to throw some in the suitcase. Don't forget, it's also waterproof to make for some added fun!
I was impressed by how soft Ako was, but a little worried this would mean attract anything (not great in a house with dogs!) however, it didn't, and was easy to clean should it have. This silicone toy has almost no scent, and a texture suitable for any user. Silicone is also nonporous, which means bacteria won't be finding its way inside the toy. The body is all silicone while the battery cap is a hard, ridged plastic. It can be cleaned with soap and water or antibacterial spray/wipes.
I loved Ako's playful colors and simple curve. The design has no intimidation factor and would be a great choice for beginners. I found the size to be just right with the curve of the toy fitting nicely against the body. Ako is just about four inches with the head being slightly bigger than the rest, though not so big as to be a bulbous shape. I would imagine the size would work just as well for beginners as any more experienced user. It's not the very smallest toy, but would be easy to travel with none the less, and definitely worth taking along!
This toy has seven power levels, though I couldn't tell the difference between six and seven. It also has twelve vibrating settings. I was impressed with how distinct each pattern was, as with past toys I've had trouble noticing much of a difference. With Ako's there's definitely something for every mood! The three control buttons are located on the side of the toy on the end nearest the battery cover. When I held the toy, the control buttons were easy to access and convenient to use, but I found I tend to mix up which button is which.
Ako isn't the quietest toy, but it isn't the loudest either. Even in a house full of roommates, no one was disturbed. This little guy is also waterproof. Just make sure the battery cap is on tight and the seal isn't damaged in any way. Personally, our small bathroom echoed just a little too much for this one to be used discretely.
Ako is a silicone toy, and should not be used with silicone lubes. It is easy to clean with soap and water or antibacterial spray/wipes, just remember to take the batteries out. Ako's small size makes it easy to store discretely somewhere nearby!
Ako comes in a black plastic package with accents matching the color of the toy and a black cardboard base. There is a clear window in the package through which you can view the toy, but there are no embarrassing graphics or other such material, making relatively discrete. The packaging was clean and attractive, but not very sturdy to reuse, though you could if you wish. The battery cover must be unscrewed to remove the cardboard base, which (I hate to admit) took me a minute of trying to pull the base off to figure out.
The toy also came with a small picobong keychain and a spot to attach this keychain on battery cover- though I don't know why you would want to. The instructions were clear and even first time users could easily get everything going after reading only the first few lines.
This would be a great toy for someone who enjoys a variety of settings or deep vibrations. For someone who needs pretty intense vibrations, Ako might not do the job, but would make a great toy for foreplay! The
I loved Ako's soft texture and fun colors. Like I said it would make a great toy for beginners because it lacks the intimidation factor of some toys. Personally, I prefer a little more power, but the vibrations did satisfy. Either way, Ako is a great toy, especially for the price!
