This vibrator is designed to be used so that one arm is inserted into the vagina to stimulate the G-spot, and the other arm rests on the clitoris, all while your partner's penis or dildo is thrusting within you. I also found it to be a "hands-off" method for masturbation.

The We-Vibe 3 consists of two motors and a firm-yet-flexible band, contained within medical silicone. While the motors are firm, the band is flexible and should make positioning it easy and comfortable. The silicone does provide a comfortable texture, though it is the slick and shiny variety. It will be a magnet for lint, hair, dust (etc.) unless properly cleaned and stored. Use caution when using a condom with this type of silicone; you don't want it accidentally coming off or tearing!

You would think that the "sticky" silicone would help the toy remain in its proper position, but my anatomy must not be the "norm", so I have a hard time keeping it in place. There are ripples in the silicone to assist with placement, but these are undetectable once it is in position. There is a barely noticeable texture with the We-Vibe logo.

Be sure to use water-based lubricant, otherwise this very pricey toy could be ruined. The We-Vibe website does have a short list of approved silicone lubricants.

I enjoy the design. It is aesthetically pleasing and wasn't intimidating for my fiance (he isn't as into sex toys as I am, but is willing to use them). I find it difficult to keep the toy in the proper position when having sex and during solo play. The size is very comfortable for me while in position, and can be easily used by beginners and advanced users. If someone were to happen across this toy in your room, they likely would not know its purpose, and while they might be intrigued, they would probably not think anything of it. It is easy to take on trips, though I have not tried taking it on an airplane yet.

The single button which controls power and function is located on the clitoral arm of the We-Vibe. There are six modes, which are officially termed low speed, high speed, tease, wave, pulse and cha-cha. While it is difficult to describe them, I'll do my best.

Low speed - a constant vibration that is low
Fast speed - a constant vibration that is a higher speed
Tease - low pulses x9 lasting 9.5 seconds, fast rumbling for a little more than two seconds
Wave - a roller-coaster sensation that steadily switches between low and fast speeds
Pulse - continuous pulsating between low and fast speeds
Cha-Cha - in a fast speed, it is similar to the marching chant "left, left, left right left"

To turn the toy off, press and hold the button for two seconds. If you restart it within an hour, it will restart on the last vibration mode used. The remote allows you to operate the massager within ten feet, but I found that sometimes, even when I'm holding the two right next to each other, the toy doesn't respond to the remote. This can be very frustrating. It might be that I got a faulty remote or something.

This is a very quiet toy. You might be able to detect something is going on under the sheets, but it's unlikely.

While the We-Vibe 3 is easy to clean, you will need to clean it a lot because of the sticky texture. I clean mine thoroughly with hot water and soap. Do not boil it, or you will ruin the the battery and motors. You may clean it with a 10% bleach solution, though remember to rinse thoroughly afterwards. Remember to use a lint-free towel after cleaning, otherwise you will have to start over again. Or you could let it air dry like I do. Afterwards, you just place it in its charging case where it charges and is ready for the next romp.

I've been searching but have found nothing that says the remote is waterproof, despite it's being seamless. Use caution when cleaning it if needed. The lithium battery is supposed to last for 5 to 7 years, and there is no way to replace it afterwards. Without constant charging, the toy is expected to last for two hours of continuous usage.

The We-Vibe 3 comes with a one year warranty.

The packaging the We-Vibe 3 arrives in is efficient, and minimal. Unfortunately, the battery does need to be charged 24 hours prior to its first use, otherwise I would have called in sick to work and put it immediately to the test. The We-Vibe and the remote are already in their included plastic storage and charging case.

Just placing the remote and the We-Vibe in their proper positions within the case will immediately begin the charging process via induction. A yellow LED light lets you know that you have positioned it properly and will let you know that it is charging. Once it is done charging, the yellow light begins blinking. The charger is made for North American outlets. If you live elsewhere, you may need to use a converter to safely charge it.

My fiance has quite a bit of girth already, so adding this into the equation makes it a little more difficult for him to find a comfortable position. For most people though, it should not be an issue.

When the toy remained in its proper position, the sensation was amazing for me! But that is exactly what was so frustrating: between the thrusting and movement, it would shift positions. At one point, the clitoral arm managed to work its way down to where my leg meets my body. For J, it was a very new sensation, and he said he couldn't really feel much of anything but vibration. I believe it made him numb because he did start to come - though without even realizing it - so I feel as though that was a big disappointment.

In our subsequent attempts at using the We-Vibe, we made sure to use plenty of lubricant on the surface that the penis slides against while making love. On the remaining surfaces we used lubricant sparingly. It seemed to help a lot with the toy maintaining its position, though I still had problems keeping it in place once the thrusting began. I loved it overall, but again, J became numb. And while he enjoyed seeing me withering under him, he didn't enjoy the sensations on his end.
