This came highly recommended to me in the comments of my My Secret review. I was new to toys, I was on a student budget, I really liked the My Secret, and I was eager to try more toys. Based on all these things, it's easy to see the logic in going on to try the Turbo Glider. But this toy has some major drawbacks for me making it one of my least favorites.

The toy is waterproof. It has that going for it. I used it in the shower and I was able to clean it in the sink. The toy is also a rather hard plastic so there are no ridges or tricky spots to clean when you're wiping it down or spraying it. It's waterproof as advertised.

As nice as it is to have a waterproof toy though, this toy just did not sit right with me. The plastic helps conduct vibrations, and in fact the toy material is rather translucent so you can see the little gears whirring and turning, which I thought was really really neat. The vibrations are really powerful and they conduct throughout the entire toy. So why do I not like this toy? The vibrations don't really seem to go anywhere. The toy is made with all these nice contours and bulges which are supposed to make it really nice for thrusting, but this toy just felt bony inside me and it made me aware of my cervix and pelvic bone. It had no texture which my insides could sink into. I don't mind plastic toys that are filling with the velvety finish, but somehow this toy, while smoother, has a lot of friction to it and doesn't hold lube very well at all. It was a complete waste to use internally and thrust with it, which really surprised and disappointed me.

Now what about external use? Well there are a few problems there too, in my experience. The end of the vibrator is a power house, but the tip is very rounded. One of the things I love about the My Secret and Dream Massager G (apart from their velvety texture) is that they both have that very tapered end that can really put all the vibrations onto the head of a pin, which works very well for my shy clit. The Turbo Glider was too rounded. It covered too broad of an area to really allow that precise stimulation which my body reacts to so strongly. In fiddling with it enough, determined to make the toy do my bidding, it would occasionally come across the right spot but it didn't do so reliably enough for me to really have a high opinion of this toy.

This toy might be good for beginners because it's so narrow and because there's a lot of variation in the controls so you can learn how much buzz you like. But honestly, while this toy is a powerhouse, it doesn't bend to my will and function how I want it too. Firm is good in my book. Velvety is okay. But this tends to feel more like a stick up there rather than a toy. It's just a pain. And not the kind I enjoy.
