High end materials with a low price meet in what is a really cute, stylish toy. Unfortunately, due to the lack of vibration strength, this toy is going to look simply adorable in your nightstand drawer as it's basically useless.
While this toy is in the shape of a traditional vibe, its small size make this toy mainly appropriate for clitoral stimulation, though the nodules on the end do provide a pleasant effect when used for shallow thrusting. This toy could also be used for all around body stimulation. This toy would be difficult to position and use with a couple during intercourse, though it would be an non-intimidating way to introduce vibrators into couple foreplay.
This toy is made out of silicone, which receives the highest safety rating of 10 on the Eden safety scale. This toy is completely non-porous. I am a person who tends to prefer plastic over silicone. While I know that silicone is a cleaner, safer, and longer lasting option, I hate the sticky feeling and the high maintenance of the toy.
The pearl offers the best of both worlds. While this toy does have all the safety of silicone, it has the silky smooth feeling of plastic! There's absolutely no drag as this toy delicately glides across your skin. The toy also comes with a storage pouch, so the issue of what to store it in also disappears.
This entire toy is about 4 inches long; an inch of the toy, however, is devoted to the twist dial base. Only about 3 inches of the toy are insertable. This will make the toy unsuitable for penetrative play for most users. If you do choose to use the toy internally, it's just short of a petite 1 inch in diameter. Those looking for a non-intimidating introduction to vibrators may find this a good option.
The dial base is white plastic with a silver plastic ring that leads to the beautiful plum silicone. It's a traditional vibe shape with a slight twist: there are 3 distinct bubble-like protrusions (like a stacked ice cream cone). While this would be a nice feeling for penetrative play, the toys small size make it more suitable for clitoral stimulation. Because the vast majority of users will use this for clitoral stimulation, the bubble design is pretty, but doesn't add much of a different feeling.
This toy is fairly discreet. It's small enough that you can just throw it into a drawer and it's inconspicuous enough that you could probably leave it lying around without people immediately realizing what it is. It would be great for travel.
To use this toy, simply twist the white dial base at the end of this toy.
Where this toy really falls short is in vibration. The toy is just weak. While the toy is whisper quiet (up until the last centimeter or so "twist" level, where it about doubles in volume), it is also whisper strong. At its highest setting, this toy is the equivalent to most other vibrators' weaker settings (the first level or perhaps second on a weaker toy's notches). While this might be a nice delicate feeling on the nipple or around the body, I found that it was much too light for me to even be remotely stimulated on my clitoris.
This toy does not have any patterns.
While this toy is easy to use, the lack of any strength whatsoever (even on its highest setting), makes this toy really lackluster and disappointing.
Because it is a vibrator and has a motor (rather than a dildo), this toy shouldn't be boiled for cleaning. Rather, a simple wipe down with some soapy water should suffice. I do find that slight creases in between the "pearls" need an additional one or two swipes because dust and lube tend to accumulate and get stuck there. This is a really low-maintenance toy. It even comes with its own little storage pouch.
The packaging is really quite pretty. It's a very elegant high-end looking black box with a black and white photo of a woman in a bra on the front. On the side is a picture of the product. It does have a short description of the toy, but overall it's a very nice looking box that would make it an appropriate gift.
Discreet looking packaging

Would make a nice gift
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it2 months after original review
This toy is still just useless. I haven't used it since I reviewed it. It's the weakest thing I've ever experienced.
