This perfume smells incredible, but I cannot attest to the potency of the pheromones. I believe that everyone should try this perfume, not only because it's wonderful, but because pheromones are different for everyone.
Even the scent will come across differently to each person. To me, it smells like warm, sugary vanilla with undertones of sandalwood and just a hint of plum, but others pick up more on the cedarwood or jasmine. You won't know until you smell it!

Pros
Smells great Lasts a long time Travel friendly
Cons
Glass tube No larger size A bit pricey for such a small amount
This is a pheromone perfume, meant to make the wearer more appealing (supposedly). Short of running brain scans and all sorts of experiments, there's really no way to just determine "yeah, it works" or "it's just like plain old pheromone-free perfume".
It smells incredible, which is definitely appealing, so it's nice to wear even if you're not trying to attract extra attention.
Because this is a perfume OIL, it does have a bit of a greasy/oily feel to it, and takes about 20 minutes to really absorb into the skin (unless you rub it in after application).
It does leave a bit of a residue on the skin when applied, but it's definitely not unpleasant. I guess it's sort of a silky feeling residue, like a nice lotion. I've never had any issues with breakouts/blemishes forming where I apply the perfume, so I don't think it clogs pores.
The ingredients are as follows:
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil- skin conditioning and viscosity controlling
Isopropyl Myristate- fragrance
Silica- absorbent, anticaking agent
Androstadienone- pheromones
Estratetraenol- pheromones
Fragrance (Parfum)- scent
Benzyl Benzoate- fragrance, antimicrobial
Citronellol- fragrance
Limonene- fragrance (naturally occurs in the rind of citrus fruits)
Linalool- fragrance
Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde- fragrance (causes allergic reactions in some users)
This is a perfume, so you're not supposed to eat it. That being said, I have not tasted it, so I couldn't honestly say what it tastes like.
Apparently, the scents included in this blend are cedarwood, plum, jasmine and sandalwood. I must admit, I smell more of a warm, sugary vanilla with undertones of sandalwood and just a hint of plum, but that's just me. Either way, it smells wonderful. Everyone who's ever noticed it (and chosen to comment) has had nice things to say about the scent, also.
Like most perfumes, the strength of the scent depends on how much you apply. If you really just want the occasional whiff of the scent, just do a dab or two. If you want to smell it more, apply more.
Like I said before, there's really no way (short of brain scans and stuff like that) to tell if this pheromone perfume is truly as alluring as one may hope. It smells great, but in all honesty, I can't say "You'll become a magnet!" or "It's just like any other run-of-the-mill perfume."
As a perfume, it's fantastic. It smells wonderful. But all I can do is speculate about the potency of the pheromones.
Because this is a roll-on oil rather than a spray, it is WAY easier to apply exactly how much or how little you want, with pinpoint accuracy (rather than a wide-range spray). Because it's oil based, it soaks in wonderfully and lasts all day (even into the next day, if you put on an ample amount. It will become more mild as time passes, but it's definitely still there. Another thing I've noticed is that the scent becomes stronger when warm, so if you're wearing a scarf or working out or something, the scent will become temporarily stronger.
If you have SUPER sensitive skin, you may want to be wary of this product because the Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde is apparently a trigger for skin allergies in some people. I'm not an ear/nose/throat doctor, but I don't believe this is the sort of thing that would cause allergies in those with scent allergies.
When this product first arrives, it's contained within a little cardboard tube. The cardboard tube is silver with a black and pink bow printed around the top, and black print along the side of the tube. The black print is essentially just the name of the product (Flirty Little Secret) and the company (Booty Parlor).
Once you pull off the top of the cardboard tube, you can see the silver cap (with a pink tint). It's a pretty close fit, so you'll probably have to tip the smaller tube out. The perfume (which is .33 fluid ounces) is contained within a black glass tube with silver and white print and a roller-ball applicator. It's a really nice size, whether you'll be carrying it with you when you go out or keeping it on your dresser for application during your morning routine. Because the body of the tube is glass, you really do want to be careful with it. Dropping it will result in a (wonderful smelling) mess of broken glass and perfume oil.
I've been using this stuff just about every other day since Christmas (2011) and it still has plenty in it. Because the tube is black glass, I have no idea how much is left, but I have a feeling it will last me several more months. Of course, how long it lasts depends entirely on how frequently you apply it and how MUCH you apply, so it will be a bit different for everyone. My guess is, for every day application (to throat, behind the ears, and the inner wrists) it would last about 6-8 months.
To be completely honest, I can't say whether this stuff works or not.
In essence, it smells good. Smelling good makes me feel good. Feeling good makes me confident. Confidence is sexy. Ta-da! Instant sex appeal.
I HAVE noticed that my partner does tend to get more grabby/gropey/humpy when I'm wearing this perfume.
I've kind of played around with it a bit, sometimes letting him know when I'm wearing it, and sometimes claiming it's normal perfume without pheromones. He seems to respond more when he's unaware of the pheromone content than he does when he knows which perfume it is, which I guess is a good indicator that it's not in his head.
Anyway, I love this perfume, and I believe I will try to always keep a tube in my collection of favorite perfumes. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this perfume. The combination of cedarwood, plum, jasmine and sandalwood sounded heavenly, but the warm, sugary vanilla scent definitely threw me for a loop. I'm not a big fan of vanilla scents, but this is now my go-to perfume.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
I still have no idea if this perfume actually increases sex appeal through pheromones. It smells fabulous, and that's the whole point of perfume, so I'm satisfied.
