Sparkle Vibes are made by the manufacturer California Exotics. This toy is made from a translucent, food-grade plastic. It is hypo-allergenic, as well as latex and phthalate-free. These come in four colors: green, purple, pink and blue. For my Sparkle Vibe I chose the blue color option.

This toy is made out of food-grade plastic and there are sparkles throughout the toy. Plastic rates an 8/10 on the EdenFantasys material safety scale. The insertable area of this toy is completely smooth, but has texture on the base of the toy where you turn the dial. It runs on a single AA battery.

The shape of this toy is nothing special; it’s your traditional vibrator. This toy has multiple speeds of vibration, which are controlled by a dial on the bottom of the toy. The vibrations go from low to pretty powerful, especially for something that runs on just one battery. In addition to using this toy internally, it also works really well for external use, and the pointed tip works great for pinpoint stimulation. This toy should not be used anally because it lacks a flared base, but it could be used externally in that area.

This toy does get a bit loud, so if that’s an issue you might want to look for something else. The packaging is not at all discreet; it comes in hard plastic through which the toy is clearly visible. The packaging also sports the name of the toy and other information.

The Sparkle Vibe is pretty small. It is 3.25” around, 5.5” long, and the insertable area is 4.5” long. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but I think its simplicity is what makes it great. Just about anyone could appreciate this toy. I do wish it was waterproof, but the plastic is easy to clean with soap and water, and for the price it’s not a big issue.
