A Sweet Dessert for A Beginner
If you're a first time vibe buyer, this is a great place to start! It's a great size, shape, and allows for clitoral, vaginal, and careful anal exploration. For those of you wanting a real ride, search for a different toy to bring you to blissfulness, because the vibrations of the candy cane will prove a bit weak for you.

With 7" of smooth, pretty plastic and multiple speeds, this colorful, waterproof vibe is fun and smooth for your pleasure. Operated by two double A batteries, the vibrations last quite a while before you need to change your batteries. However, the vibration quality is only moderate, even with its multiple speeds. For those of you needing something fairly intense to get over the edge, this toy is not for you. I would suggest it more for beginners, or someone who requires less to find their finish line.
I could not quite decide if I liked the rigidness of the hard plastic, or if the lack of flexibility bothered me. It really depended on my mood. Yet, I think the rigidness is suitable for a beginner as they have more control of what the toy will do inside of them. Clearly, with 7" in length and 1" in diameter, this toy is suitable for inserting or clitoral play. It is packaged in simple plastic, and includes instructions for use. It isn't super adorable packaging, but it isn't strange or creepy like you sometimes see in lower priced vibes. This vibe is fairly easy to store or pack around as it is light and thin. However, it is long and brightly colored so it isn't the most discrete toy out there.
The waterproofing is easily the best quality, but I would not trust this toy in my bath tub as I do with it in my shower. I don't think it could handle full submersion very well, as on my particular model the battery casing does not tighten down enough for me to trust it under the water. It's just a tinsy bit too flimsy in that area for submersion. I don't know if this is common with all of these toys, or it is just my particular one. Regardless, I would still suggest it as more of a "for the shower" than a "for the bath" kind of toy.
This cute little candy cane sports a dial-base, so there is no button pressing to get to the desired speed. However, once or twice I have managed to turn the dial during play without meaning to which can prove to be fairly frustrating! So there are both pros and cons to dial base speed control.
The smooth plastic is suitable with oil, silicone, or water based lubes. Plastic toys can be cleaned with soap and water, water/bleach mix, or your favorite toy wipes or cleaner. The smoothness of this toy also makes it glide very smoothly during play when using lube.
For added spice, I have found this toy can be thrown in the freezer for a few minutes before play, just to give you some new sensations with the cold! I've had mine for about three years now, and it does burn through the batteries faster now. The more often I change them, the harder it is on the battery compartment. However, this toy is quite nice for anal stimulation, so long as you keep a hold of the base (you don't want it to go getting stuck up there!).
Overall, the cute candy cane vibe is best suited as a warm up because it isn't the strongest toy in my drawer and I like something with a little punch. Also, it isn't going to be the quietest vibe, which lowers it's score a bit for those of you wanting to be completely discrete, but, for the money, it's a functional and fun little dessert.

Experience
I am reasonably pleased with the fact that this little guy is still running after three years. However, some of it's manufacturing flaws are growing ever more apparent, mostly in the battery compartment area. It is cute though, and fairly functional. I keep it in my bathroom drawer, and grab it for my warm up before my man comes in. I'd totally suggest it for a beginner as it isn't intimidating in size or girth and will provide a nice little sensation for new users.

Cute. Colorful. Waterproof. How could I not like this toy? The poor thing has so much to compete with though; it just will never top my Ina or my Vitality. And soon I will be getting a Jopen toy for it to go up against. But I stand by my advice in my original review; It's the right price point and power for a beginner searching for a solid waterproof toy that is decently well made. However, I did get to thinking the hard plastic material might give some newbies a little bit of painfulness. I don't know, I don't hate plastic, but I am just such a silicone girl. A little bit more give and, loveliness (in my personal opinion).
