A Paraben-Free and Vegan Lube That WORKS!

I'm very pleased with this lube! It's a hypo-allergenic, water-based lube that's good for about anything you would use a lube for and has a pleasant scent and no taste. I would definitely recommend it if you prefer thin lubricants and enjoy not feeling greasy after sex.

Use

This is a wonderful organic, water-based, and vegan friendly lubricant for all your intimate needs. It has the added bonus of being both paraben and glycerine free, which is great for people who have may have a sensitivity to either. While I don't personally have a problem with the inclusion of aloe and find it a very nice addition, it could be a problem for those who have aloe allergies.
A little test run or twenty have proven this lube is up to the task, whatever you're in the mood for. Since it is water-based, you don't have to worry about it damaging any of your silicone toys. Penetrative sex, toy insertion, or an old fashioned jerk-off are all easily facilitated. Since it absorbs into the skin, you could even use it for a massage.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

You could say that I'm a connoisseur of lubricants, and this one met and exceeded my standards. I generally like thinner lubes and this definitely fits the bill. It's a little thicker than water and goes on very easily. If you're applying it to a plug, just a few drops on top will run down and coat your toy. It has a smooth, velvety texture that feels lovely and not greasy at all. A little of this goes a long way, evidenced by the fact I'm still using the same bottle several months later.

Taste / Aroma

This lube has a light "fresh" scent to it that I'll attribute to the aloe, but that doesn't stick around once it's dry. It also has absolutely no taste, so if the tongue is your preferred after-sex clean up implement, you won't have to sacrifice your dessert!

Performance

I love how well this lube absorbs into the skin. Not only that, but the aloe leaves you feeling nice and conditioned. There is absolutely no sticky or tacky residue left over. During vaginal sex, I've found it works very well for my purposes. I usually don't get wet until I'm halfway to orgasm, so it soaking into the skin as it did wasn't a problem for me. In fact, it saved me a lot of after-sex clean up! If you're particularly dry, you might need to use more, but I haven't had a problem. For anal sex, I've found that you might need to reapply a bit, but that's much preferably to the icky, greasy feeling you get when you use jelly lubes.

Packaging

4.2oz of lube is packaged in an attractive and recyclable dark plastic bottle with a refined black and gold label. It's very visually pleasing. It's also fairly unassuming, and I wouldn't have a problem leaving it on my bedside table. The only mention of anything vaguely sexual on it is the phrase "natural intimate lubricant". On the back, it has a full ingredients list as well as a "quick reference" features list. The cap is reminiscent of a shampoo bottle, with a simple click-open design. You need to put a little pressure on the bottle for the lube to come out, but since it's so thin, that helps you make sure you don't get too much. Even if it was accidentally opened, it is unlikely to leak more than a bit. This would make it ideal for throwing in a suitcase for a road trip, but it would need to be put in a smaller bottle to fit within the TSA's 3-ounce limitation if you intended to fly.
    • Does not leak
    • Recyclable
    • Very informative packaging

Personal comments

The product contained in this little Bedroom Kandi bottle is actually Sliquid Organics Silk by another name. I much prefer the bottle design of the BK version, but if you like to buy in bulk, they do have a 8.5oz bottle of this under the Sliquid label a bit cheaper.

Experience

My SO and I got this lube as a free gift with a purchase at a local store. We've both been very pleased with its performance so far and I wouldn't be surprised if we went back and bought another bottle.

Follow-up commentary
I was surprised at how long this little bottle lasted. It really went a long way, though switching back to a cheaper lube after it ran out has been rather painful. Despite really enjoying my experiences using this lube, I can't bring myself to drop $15 for a bottle.
