Though I had issues with this toy, its sleek design makes it possible to use for even some of the tightest women and its shape lets it be used both internally and externally without excelling in either. This would make a solid introductory toy for those looking to get into sex toys without spending too much money, but advanced users will be left desiring more than this toy can offer. Bottom line: if you're willing to spend a bit more money, get something better.
The Micro Touch Massager G by Cal Exotics is a small, discreet vibrator that is great for users first starting out with sex toys. I would not recommend for it to be a user's first sex toy, but if they are purchasing several toys to start out, it would make a fair addition. It is not intimidating and is easy to use but hard to mess up, which makes it a good first toy to bring into a relationship.
After a fair amount of confusion, I decided that this toy is, in fact, a bullet vibrator to be used externally. If you think that it is an internal toy, I understand where you got that impression (since it has a g-spot "tip" and has "G" in its name) and though you can use it internally, I feel that the small size and lack of a handle might make it not as pleasant as other toys would be. Externally, however, this toy works well and can stimulate areas all over your body. Please do not use this anally, as it is likely to get lost due to the lack of a flared base.
Cal Exotics claims that this toy is waterproof, but the lack of an o-ring worries me. I would advise against entirely submerging it, but I turned it on during a shower and it worked fine. Because of its small size, it is also great for travel as it can fit into even the smallest of suitcases.
The Micro Touch Massager G is made of light blue plastic with lighter blue inlays of TPR, earning it a total safety rating of 7. It is made of food-grade materials, phthalate-free, latex-free, and hypo-allergenic.
Though this toy is not entirely smooth, I would not go as far as to say that it is textured. I assume that the TPR inlays were meant to provide texture for additional stimulation, but I could not feel a difference between the two materials while in use. When running a finger across it, it is possible to feel the ridges surrounding the TPR, but they are not defined enough to be felt by other parts of the body body.
The Micro Massager G is entirely firm with no give whatsoever. Unlike in other toys, the TPR is not at all squishy and the entire toy is hard. This should not be a problem to most users due to the size of this toy, but it is something to keep in mind if you are considering this toy because of the flexible nature of most TPR.
There is a very slight odor to the toy which can possibly be attributed to the TPR. I cannot think of a good comparison to it, but it does not smell too bad. The odor is very light and cannot be smelled unless you are holding the toy directly up to your nose, which is not one of the intended uses anyway. There is no taste to this toy at all.
The plastic that this toy is made out of is non-porous, but, sadly, the TPR is slightly porous and cannot be fully sterilized. Because of this, condoms should be used if sharing.
The product page claims that this product is 3.25" long, but holding it directly to a ruler I would call it 3.5" long at least (not counting the button). It's diameter at its widest point is just under an inch, but it tapers to a tip for easy insertion (should you decide to insert it). There is not really a G-spot angle per se, since the G-spot "tip" does not really protrude past the widest part of the diameter. This is a very slim toy and should have no problem fitting into any beginner, but even they might be disappointed by the lack of stimulation from the girth. Personally, though, I used it as a clitoral vibrator and found no pleasure from inserting it.
For the sake of size-comparison, here it is with a Burt's Bees chapstick, We-Vibe Tango (purple), and LELO Mia 2 (black):
As you can see, the Micro Touch Massager G is larger than the We-Vibe Tango but smaller than the LELO Mia 2. Keep in mind that these are external bullet vibrators and not internal toys. This toy will not fit into standard holes for bullet vibrators.
Cal Exotics claims that this is a "designer" toy, but I cannot say that I liked the design more than the other toys that I own. Though it is not phallic, I think that most people can almost immediately figure out what it is, simply because there are not a lot of objects that it can be. At most, you can claim that it is a spot massager for shoulders or some other body part, but its functionality is not enough to be effective and a person is still likely to figure out that this is a vibrator.
At the very tip of this vibrator, there were three tiny pointy tips. I do not know why there are there, but the largest of them was just large enough to annoy me when using this toy. I feel like they do not belong and should not be there. A picture of this is below.
Because this toy is rather small, it is easy to hide if you need to. It fits into most purses and many pockets and can also easily be hidden behind other things. It is suitable for travel, just be sure to remove the battery so that it does not turn on by accident.
There is only one button on this toy, used to turn it on and off. Because there is only one setting, that is all that is necessary. The button is easy to find and press. Pressing on it softly keeps the toy on only for the duration that it is held, while pressing it firmly until you hear a quiet click turns it on until you press on the button again.
The vibrations of this toy are very buzzy. They are strongest in the tip, but still fairly powerful throughout the toy, even where it is held. I would give this toy two vrooms because the vibrations are not really that strong. However, I feel that this toy earns three bees. Though it might not be able to be heard through a door, if you have thin walls (or floors, as in my case) people in those rooms might be able to hear a faint buzz. For comparison, it is louder than any of my three LELOs on high (Mona 2, Nea, Mia 2) on their highest settings. Granted, it is not the loudest toy in the world, but it is just loud enough that I feel it is too loud for the weakness of the vibrations.
The Micro Touch Massager G uses one AAA battery. I tried both a normal battery and a rechargeable one and could not tell any difference in strength, but the rechargeables I have are good quality so your experience might vary. When opening the battery compartment for the first time, be sure to not take out the piece of cardboard inside and toss it - it is actually necessary for the toy to work! I did this but then had to rescue it from the trash, since the little cardboard insert actually keeps the battery in place and prevents it from rattling around. Without it, the battery compartment is simply too wide for your AAA battery. You get over two hours of play with one battery.
Cal Exotics claims that this toy is waterproof, but, as mentioned before, the lack of an O-ring worries me. It works in the shower, but I was not willing to risk ruining a perfectly good battery by entirely submerging it. Personally, I would avoid submerging but do believe that this toy is splashproof and safe to shower with.
This toy is easy to clean and maintain. Because of the TPR, you cannot fully sterilize this toy, but you can still wash it with a conventional toy cleaner or with simple soap and water. Do not attempt to boil this toy, as both the TPR and motor will suffer from this.
The materials are compatible with all types of lubricants. I tested some silicon-based, water-based, aloe-based, and coconut oil on it and found no reactions. The materials are also safe to store with other toys, though if you wish to protect it more you can always put it into a fabric pouch or plastic bag.
I would advise against storing this toy out in the open due to it not being entirely discreet, but you always can if you have a good spot for it. It can be stored virtually anywhere, but try to keep it out of direct sunlight as that can, over time, damage your toy. The original packaging did not seem to be a good storage option and sadly did not come with a storage pouch, but regardless it is not a difficult toy to find a place for.
This toy came in clear plastic packaging which, though lacking in naked people, still seemed to scream "VIBRATOR" to me. There was some information on the paper insert, but it was not very informative; then again, this toy is simple enough that it does not need a lot of explanation. Thankfully, it was easy to pull open and did not require me to tear the box apart like so many other toys have.
Because of the size of this plastic packaging, I would advise against storing your toy in it after opening it. I would also add a gift bag or gift wrapping of some sort if I was giving this item as a gift due to the non-discreet nature of the package.
The only instructions included were on battery insertion, which in itself was not very complicated. I would have liked some specification of the supposed waterproof nature of this toy, but that was not present.
I got this toy as a free gift with a recent purchase of mine. Normally, I find myself less critical with these toys, since I think it is really nice of EF to provide them to use and try to find good uses for them, but I simply could not with this one. The vibrations are too buzzy and loud (I am hereby proclaiming that I am a silence queen) and, due to the TPR not being able to be sterilized, I cannot even rehome this toy; it is doomed to lurk in the bottom of my toy storage.
In case you are wondering, a rating of two stars was given to this toy because, though it did not hurt me, I did not get any stimulation from it. Maybe I am just spoiled by higher end toys, but I could not figure out a good alternative use. However, if you are interested in this toy, do not let my negative review stop you; everybody has their own preferences and maybe somebody not bothered by medium noise levels would have enjoyed this toy more.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it3 months after original review
I have turned this toy on twice since my review, both times to see if it was still functional. Indeed, it does still turn on. However, I cannot say that my opinion of it has improved; I feel that there are too many good toys out there, even in the "cheaper" range, to bother with this one. Its vibrations remain too weak and too low in quality for those times that I don't mind their weakness, while the toy itself is still too loud for my preferences. Nothing really stands out about this other than the color, so I have no intention of using this toy again.

Thanks for another excellent review, "silence queen"! I'm going to nominate it right now for the rumble!

Thank you for the awesome review and nice pictures. Those three pointy tips are so weird!
Sincerely yours, N
Thanks for the awesome editing job and nomination, Wicked Wahine! Since my biggest complaint with toys is that they're "too loud," I figured it was time for me to announce that I'm a silence queen. If power queens and size queens exist, why not silence ones? : )
Thanks Rossie! I'm fairly certain now that they're from the manufacturing, but I still feel like Cal Ex could have done something about them. I think I might have even enjoyed this toy a bit more without them annoying me.

Thank you for this great and detailed review! I just got this toy as my free gift, and while I'm excited to try something new, I know it won't be one of my favorite toys. Very helpful review!
