The toy takes 3 AA batteries. The controls are at the bottom of the unit. It looks like there are two buttons on either side. There are not. I spent a good portion of my time pushing the back side of the control unit (which does move inward like a button) wondering what on earth I was doing wrong. Anyhow, push the front for the first setting. A white, LED light lights up the base. Push again to switch through the settings.

To turn the unit off, simply hold down the power button. The mode will switch back to the beginning the next time you turn it on.

The controls themselves are a little difficult to use as, in the heat of the moment, you may think you are pushing the front button when in fact you are pushing the false back button.

The vibrations are centered at the bulb and do not carry throughout the toy, however this is not a problem.

The toy can be heard from under the covers but not from behind a closed door.

The unit is waterproof and preforms well.

Clean with soap and water or a toy cleaner before and after each use. You can sterilize with rubbing alcohol but do not boil or put on the top rack of your dishwasher as this would ruin the motor.

Use only water-based lube with this toy.

Store away from other silicone toys. Store in a drawer or toy chest, or leave it out. It looks like a normal massager.
