The Shane's World Study Buddy is intended as a pocket sized, water proof vibrator for women. It's designed to stimulate the immediate entrance of the vagina. The Study Buddy would definitely pack a little punch for the horny girl on the go.

This toy is made of two different parts with two different materials. First, the bullet is a hard plastic and is covered by the jelly sleeve. The sleeve is a PVC jelly and it isn't phthalate free. Those allergic, beware of the Study Buddy... even if it is now discontinued here on Eden Fantasys. The sleeve feels squishy and smooth. I would suggest this type of material to more intermediate users who know how to clean a toy properly.

The Study Buddy is about 3 inches long and about 1 inch thick. It's not really big enough for us gay males out there who wanna reach the p-spot but still have control over how we stroke that little bugger. Its size makes it ultra-portable. It is like the Ultrabook of travel vibrators; it's small, lightweight, and in a pinch it definitely gets the job done. This size is for any and all users, but more likely than not fellas wont like this. It will just feel like you are getting poked, not porked.

The controls for intensity on the Study Buddy are indistinguishable from each other, and made me wonder if it worked properly. It vibrates more at the tip of the study buddy than at the base, and the control for the vibe is at the bottom near the nylon string. The location of the controls makes the toy easy to adjust and to keep the setting where you set it without accidentally bumping it. Generally it vibrates inside and outside of you, and works both inside the water and outside of the water.

In the water, I saw no real difference from when I was not in the water, which is good. I had no problems of the battery dying out or feeling the vibrations becoming waterlogged. They toy maintained itself without any issues.

When trying to clean this toy, wash it in hot, soapy water with a damp cloth. Do NOT try to sterilize this toy. I suggest only using water-based lubricants, as silicone based lubes are potentially dangerous to the jelly components of the Study Buddy. Storage is pretty basic, however do keep it out of extreme heat, as I guess that it will probably melt the jelly.
