Who doesn't love the Alice in Wonderland story? It's fun, quirky and more than a little bit dark. It really lends itself to some pretty cool fantasy play. It didn't come as a surprise to me when Doc Johnson released a line of vibrators inspired by the tale of Alice stumbling down the rabbit hole. You have five design choices in the line, this one is called the White Wabbit. It is shaped like a rabbit, with two fluttery ears, a cute button nose, and a cute little tail. It is designed to be used externally, but you could use it internally for vaginal or g-spot play as well. I would not recommend using it anally, as it has no flared base. This little bunny also does a fairly decent job at nipple stimulation.
The White Wabbit is made of silicone, which covers an internal housing of ABS plastic. The silicone itself is velvety and smooth, with little to no drag when you slide your finger along it. Silicone is non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex free and does not contain phthalates. It rates a 10 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. In keeping with the Alice story, the toy is all white. There is some flex to the portion of the toy that is the rabbit itself, mostly in the ears, but the bottom portion of the shaft has no bend to it. The rabbit has no eyes or mouth, just a nose, which is good because sex toys with faces are sometimes a bit creepy. Where the cap for the battery housing is located there is a small gold ring, it is the only color on this toy aside from white.
Measuring 5 1/2" in total length, the White Wabbit is just a tiny thing. At the widest point, which is the middle of the rabbit, it measures 1 1/4" in diameter. The nose measures a little over 3/8" wide, and the two ears together are almost 7/8" at the widest point. The toy is controlled by a single white button on the bottom of it. Pressing the button once turns the toy one and begins the vibration. Each subsequent press of the button cycles you through the 10 settings.
The settings are:
1-high steady vibration
2-medium steady vibration
3-low steady vibration
4-a studdery semi-solid vibration
5-slow pulse
6-faster pulse
7-a throbbing vibration
8-a rolling escalating vibration
9-a faster pulse with a broader gap in between
10-a slower pulse with a broader gap in between
To turn the toy off, you press and hold the button down for a few seconds. As long as you don't remove the batteries, the toy remembers the setting it was on when you turned it off, and starts on the next vibration setting. When you remove the batteries and replace them, and turn the toy on, it starts over at the beginning of the list of vibration settings. The small white LED light that surrounds the button flashes along with the vibration setting the toy is currently on, or remains lit if on a solid setting. The vibrations are buzzy, without a doubt, with not a rumble in sight. It is a fairly quiet toy, even if it doesn't deliver a ton of power. It might be nice if you lived with roommates or in a dorm, and just needed a little something to push you over the edge, but it isn't the star of the show. I needed to use my hand as well to be able to finish when I used this toy.
To install the single AA battery, you simply twist the cap off of the bottom, put the battery in, and then replace the cap. You press down and twist to secure the cap. That compresses the waterproof ring and locks it into place. The battery does last quite a long time, several hours, so it isn't a battery guzzler. The White Wabbit has no travel lock, so be sure to remove the batteries if you intend to travel with this little guy.
The White Wabbit is waterproof, so you can take it with you in the shower or bath. It performed well underwater with no issues or residual damage. There is no smell or taste to the toy at all, even right out of the package. As the toy is made of silicone, you will want to avoid using silicone lubes with it. Any water based lube can be used. To clean the White Wabbit, you can wash the toy with a mild soap and water, or with your favorite toy cleaner. To sterilize it, it can be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution.

Experience
(contd. from above)
The package that comes with this toy is very cute, and would be great for gifting. It works well for storage too, but it does take up a lot more space than the toy itself. The toy is resting inside a plastic form, which is seated inside a cardboard book. The toy and plastic form occupy the space where the pages would be in a real book. There are color photos of each of the toys in the Alice in Wonderland line, and the front cover closes just as a real book would. The "book" has an outer sleeve with a stylized Alice in Wonderland logo, which is just the right combination of whimsy and elegance.
Experience---
This little toy is super cute, with its little rabbit face and whimsical design, but it didn't do it for me. I had several issues with it, which may or may not be specific to me. We're each unique, so your mileage may vary.
When I used this externally, I found the bulk of the vibrations centered in the nose of the rabbit. I think if this toy had no ears I would have been able to make it work, but the broader less intense vibrations of the ears really distracted from the stronger vibrations in the nose. The ears are so very flexible, that I couldn't get any really strong pinpoint stimulation from them. They are so small that I couldn't get any really intense broad sensation from them either. They simply served to get in the way.
The button on the bottom was very easy to accidentally push. I don't really care for patterns in vibrations, so when I accidentally hit the button and have to cycle through a ton of patterns to get back to a solid vibrations setting, it really takes away from the experience. I also find the light up button area distracting, but I know I'm in the minority with that one.
I couldn't get this to work externally no matter how hard I tried. I alternated between being annoyed by the ears, accidentally hitting the button, and not being able to really get pressure to where I needed it. When I used this internally, it was just too mild to push me over the edge. I can't hold that against the toy, as it's marketed as an external vibe, so I didn't expect it to be filling. Basically, I felt like I was having to try really hard to make this work, even more than if I was not using a toy at all. That's not what I look for in a toy, I don't know about you.
As a brief side note, the ears on my rabbit are two different sizes. Obviously, this is really only an aesthetic issue, and certainly doesn't change the function or performance of the toy, but I wanted to mention it just the same.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
This little guy still makes an appearance from time to time, but it will never be a favorite. It still works well and I have no issues with the quality of the toy. It just doesn't have the rumble that I like.
