The Jopen Vr5 is a dual stimulation or "rabbit" style vibrator, meaning it is designed to stimulate both vaginally and clitorally at the same time. In addition, the shaft of the Vr5 has a somewhat pronounced curve designed specifically for g-spotting. The biggest problem with dual stimulation toys, especially those with g-spot curves, is that to work the best the toy needs to fit your anatomy properly so that the g-spot arm rests against your g-spot while the clitoral arm sits against your clitoris. To help make this toy work for a wider variety of anatomies Jopen made the Vr5 (as well as many of their other toys) somewhat flexible. Since it is designed for such a specific purpose it is a bit awkward to use this toy any other way. The shaft can be used for clitoral stimulation but it is a bit too wide to be used during intercourse. The clitoral shaft also will work an anchor to keep the toy outside of the body if you choose to try it anally, and although I don't know for sure, I would guess that it might sit comfortably enough to externally stimulate the p-spot while the curve hits it internally. Like I said though, I don't know for sure since I unfortunately don't have a p-spot to experiment with.

It is also waterproof which means it can be enjoyed in the tub or shower, it also makes cleaning a breeze!

Luckily all the Jopen toys are made of the same high-grade, magenta silicone. It is powdery and smooth but does offer a bit of a drag, I would recommend adding some water based lube to help things move more smoothly. Like all other silicone toys, Jopen's toys are all non-porus, phthalates free, without odor and taste, and a ten on the Eden Fantasys Saftey Scale.

The Vr5 does not have much texture other than the graduated bumps along the shaft which I did not really notice during use, I imagine this is because instead of thrusting during use I am more prone to rocking against it. I don't think that even those sensitive to texture would be bothered by the subtle bulges on this.

As I mentioned earlier this toy is designed to hit both the g-spot and the clitoris and I found it worked really well for my anatomy, but the question is, will it work for yours? Since I already knew the clitoral arm on the Vr5 is quite flexible I had expected that during use I would insert the toy far enough that the the entire clitoral arm would bend back and rest against my labia to provide broad stimulation.



Instead, it doesn't get bent back that far during use so it is the tip that rests against my clitoris and provides more pinpoint stimulation, it does not provide much pressure. Sometimes this makes the stimulation a bit more intense than I would typically enjoy but for some reason with this toy it works.

The size of this toy is great for both beginners and advanced users, it also makes it somewhat easy to hide and since it has a travel lock (which can be activated by just holding down the two buttons) makes it great for travel.

The Vr5 is powered by two motors, one in the tip and the other in the clitoral arm. Each motor is controlled separately, by a button on the bottom. Push once to turn it on, push and hold to turn up the vibrations, and finally push it again to turn it off. Once the toy is on the button will illuminate, when you hold it down the button will flash and it will return to a solid light once it reaches it's maximum speed. There are not functions to the Jopen toys. Although the controls sound very simple, and they are, there are times that I find it can be a bit difficult, I tend to accidentally turn them off during use and I'm still trying to get used to which button controls which motor.



The motors are quite powerful, at their maximum I would rank them around 5 vrooms and two bees. The vibrations are rumbly and get slightly more buzzy as the strength increases but even at it's highest speed I would consider it more rumbly than buzzy. When I first turned the motors on I was a little perturbed by the sound because it sounded like something was rattling around, but I have never had any trouble so it seems like it's normal. It can barely be heard during use under a blanket and it wouldn't be heard at all through a door. Although it may look like water can get in through the charging port you will notice that when it is submerged it (magically) creates an air tight bubble around the port to protect it. Each time you charge it you need to push the charger into the port on the opposite side of the control panel, somewhat firmly, and the lights will illuminate, it will take a few hours to charge fully and once it does the lights will turn off.

The Vr5 is very easy to care for simply wipe it down after use with a mild soap and warm water. I have noticed that, like most silicone toys, it collects quite a bit of lint so I always wipe it down before I use it, even though I store mine in the box it came in but somehow the lint manages to penetrate the box and attach itself to my beloved Vr5. You could also store it in the lovely bag it comes in, it's possible that it's magically lint proof just like the charging port is magically waterproof, but I doubt it. When you're using it I would recommend only water-based lubricants as silicone toys and silicone lubricants aren't the best of friends.

The packaging for this toy is quite nice, but not quite up to par with other luxury toys. It is packaged in a simple cardboard box with the charger, directions, and a carrying bag that is HUGE compared to the toy itself. I do use the packaging for storage and it works fine for me but you could just as easily use the included storage bag.




The directions included are quite simple, but they include the directions for every Jopen toy out there, which naturally makes me want every Jopen toy out there, which I'm pretty sure is their nefarious plot.

Since this was my first rabbit vibrator I was a little nervous about how I'd feel about it, especially since I usually like my toys pretty girthy and designed for thrusting and this toy fulfills none of these. Luckily I was not disappointed, I love this toy! I find the best way to use my Vr5 is to just insert it and rock against it. Since I have a bit of a glass clit (super sensitive) sometimes the stimulation can be a bit intense clitorally but I still do enjoy not having to juggle two toys to get both internal and external stimulation.
