These balls are great for kegel exercising and for increasing pleasure during orgasms. They aren’t difficult to insert since they are about the size of a marble and have a nice weight to them. There is no cord to take them out so they may not be good for a beginner.
These Ben wa balls from Doc Johnson are designed for vaginal exercise. Vaginal exercisers are intended to help women strengthen their PC muscles by helping out with kegels and therefore better orgasms. They have no cord attached to them and should not be used in the anus. There are anal beads and balls that are designed for that which would work much better for anal stimulation.
I don’t get much use out of them because they are a little big, but I’m definitely on the hunt for something smaller in size. I never had children so these would definitely work for some people. They are nice and heavy so they would be great for tightening the vaginal muscles. They can also be used during intercourse for added sensations but I haven’t tried that yet and it sounds like it would be too uncomfortable.
These are just plain metal balls with no texture to them. There are really no special features about these balls. They have no moving parts inside of them and they don’t vibrate. This makes them nice and discreet and can be worn in any type of setting without anyone knowing. They might slip out easily though so wear underwear or something to stop them from rolling down if they do slip out.
These are obviously a ball shape, just slightly larger than a marble. The length and width are only half an inch with a diameter of about an inch. Each ball weighs 0.3 lb. They are about the size of a marble but I think they are a little heavier. They come in either clear or blue colors.
These were easy to insert and easy to wear for an extended period of time. I couldn’t feel them while they were inside so I didn’t get much sensations when walking around. They are very smooth and are a little on the small size and I didn’t require any lube to get them in. Taking them out is a little difficult because for me they like to stay in place and just jumping around to get them out didn’t work. I usually have no choice but to take them out with my fingers which I don’t really see to be a problem, but a cord or string attachment would be nice.
You can clean these by using soap and water, just be careful that they don’t run down the drain. They are non-porous, so a quick wash will do. There are no seams, so you don’t need to worry about gunk getting inside. They are compatible with all lubes, so if you need a little to help you get them in, don't fret as to what kind you can use. They are rather small so you probably won’t need any lube. I’ve had no trouble getting them in. If you drop them they won’t get damaged as easily as glass or plastic balls so they should last you a long, long time.
The Ben Wa balls come in a sturdy plastic case that you can use for storage. The box is 2½ inches long with a width of 2" and height of 2" so you can keep it just about anywhere. The lid doesn’t open all the way, but I have no trouble getting the balls out. The balls themselves are nestled in a foam padding so they don’t jiggle around. Under the padding you will find a little pamphlet to show you how you can use them. I think they would be a great gift because everything you could possibly want to know and have is right in this package.
These were my first vaginal balls but next time I’ll go for ones with a cord. However, I think these are great to have. I don’t have children so unfortunately I don’t get as much use out of them like some others would. When I put them in they just stay in place. I can’t feel them moving around but once in a while one will slip out but I don’t have to struggle to keep them in. I’d still recommend them to someone looking for vaginal exercisers. Since there is no cord I don’t really recommend this to a beginner. It’s probably cheaper to just go out and buy marbles but I think these are a little heavier than marbles and personally I like the little case they come in.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it3 months after original review
I don't use them anymore because they simply don't do anything for me. Most likely I'll be throwing them out in order to make a little more room in my toy box.
