If you're looking for a new go-to vibrator that doesn't break the bank, this one's for you. With incredible vibrations and a realistic design, the chubby will have you coming (back for more) again and again.

Pros
plushy soft, strong and deep vibrations, cheap and versatile
Cons
latex material, original odor, not exactly like the picture
The waterproof gal pal chubby has become one of my favorite toys. It's versatile in that the curved end is great for g- or p-spot stimulation. Even though in the package it looks... well, frankly, huge... its plushy and soft and will be a perfect fit for anyone, save perhaps users completely new to penetration. I would think that even then, with a good amount of lube, this will satisfy. It can go anywhere from the bedroom to the hot tub, pool, or shower.
Being made out of latex, it's important that you're sure you do not have an allergy. When I first got it out of the package, it smelled and tasted like latex with a distinct and slightly off-putting fruit flavor meant to cover it up. After washing it a few times this went away.
The veins and ribs are not nearly as defined as the picture shows, but that's okay. There's just enough there to be able to feel it. As it's plushy, soft, and incredibly flexible outside of the vibrator/battery compartment (which extends about two thirds into the toy and is about an inch in diameter), this toy is perfect for anyone from beginners to more advanced users.
The plastic base is wide and easy to grasp, and you don't have to be too terribly careful to avoid turning the dial accidentally. The rubber O-ring to seal out water seems to hold up well.
The realistic curve at the tip feels great to stimulate the g-spot; I just wish it was a little firmer to be closer to the real thing in that regard.
Don't be off-put by the size of this thing; it compresses to fit you perfectly. At the head, the circumference is about five inches and compresses to about two inches. It keeps this girth pretty statically down the shaft and gets larger at the base which is six and a quarter inches in circumference; compressed it's about five. Technically, the insertable length is seven inches, but the base is rather large and I insert only about six inches of this toy just because the base is an excellent handle.
As it's supposed to be realistic it really is not discreet. The size makes this toy not the easiest to hide away in a drawer or suitcase.
The chubby has a dial on it's base for dynamic vibration control. It's got a good resistance to it so that it doesn't accidentally turn on or you don't accidentally change the setting during play.
At its lowest setting, the vibrations are light to moderate and it is virtually silent. As it heightens, the vibrations become strong and deep, radiating wonderfully throughout the entire shaft. When not inserted, this setting is rather loud, but when inside I wouldn't think you could hear it through a closed door.
This toy is says that it's waterproof and it really is. You can drop it in the tub without any worry of leakage into the battery compartment.
This toy is what I'll call medium-maintenance. Its easy to clean with toy cleaner or soap and warm water, and I would suggest doing so frequently, at the very least after each use. Do not use oil-based lubricants with this toy; however, water-based or silicone is just fine. Additional precautions should be taken if you intend to share this toy because latex is very porous; I actually suggest using a condom with it every time to protect yourself and others against bacteria.
As far as storing this toy goes, I keep it in a cloth drawstring bag to make sure it doesn't accidentally come in contact with any stray oil-based lubricants and to keep it lint and dust free. You could also keep it in the original packaging for added safety.
The chubby comes packaged in a blister pack and is pretty standard. It's not exactly discreet - and by "not exactly" I mean completely obvious. The vibrator is on proud display next to a sexy lady in a miniskirt as are its features: waterproof, plushy soft, and multi-speed. There were no directions on how to put the batteries in and it's not at all obvious from looking (there's no spring visible anywhere) so it took me a few tries to get it right (make sure you twist the cap closed tightly or it won't work; I had it right the second try but I didn't close it adequately).

Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore21 days after original review
I still actually like it, just a bit less than I did. It's just... I don't know, not exactly my favorite. After getting some silicone toys of my very own, the latex is just a bit too high maintenance for me, I think, especially when I have to use lube with it instead of just natural lubrication. That being said, it still is holding up well, and the batteries are still going strong. If you don't mind working with the latex, I'd still recommend it.
