SSA Glass's Pink Rotator is a glass rotary or "juicer" style dildo that is meant to be turned while inside the body. Though this toy does make a perfectly good thruster as well because the shorter length and flared base prevent you from thrusting too far (though one should still be careful while thrusting because this is a glass toy and can cause cervical injury). The Pink Rotator is also safe to use anally because of that flared base.

The Pink Rotator is made from Pyrex glass, which is one of the safest toy materials. Being glass, it is very easy to care for and clean, but it is also very hard and inflexible. Care should be taken while using so as not to cause injury, and you should always check your toy for chips, cracks or scratches before using. As with any glass piece, there is no smell or taste to the Pink Rotator.

There is a fair bit of texture to the toy. There are grooves running down the head from the tip and a shallow (less than 1/4") spiral twisting up the shaft. There are also six nubs on the edge of the flared base/plate. As someone who can't handle much texture or nubs on a toy, I didn't find anything about this toy overwhelming. Thus this toy would be good for beginners and more experienced users alike.

As I said above, this toy is intended to be turned or rotated inside the vagina. But that doesn't stop this from being an excellent thruster. Because of its shorter length and flared base (which prevents it from being thrust too far into the body), this would be an ideal toy for partner play. However, the handle on the base/plate will not allow this toy to be used with a harness.

The Pink Rotator is extremely easy to care for. Because it is glass, it is hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free, and non-porous. Simply use soap and water, toy cleaner or wipes, alcohol or a bleach solution to clean it. Glass is also top-rack dishwasher safe (sans detergent or use a glass specific one and a lower temperature setting). This toy can also be boiled briefly. If cleaning by hand, make sure to get into the indentations on the head of the toy with a fingernail or Q-Tip.

Glass is safe to use with any type of lubricant (if needed at all). The toy itself is also easy to store because of its small size. Slip into a padded pouch or even a sock and place in a drawer or toy box.

There is very minimal packaging to the Pink Rotator. It comes wrapped in some bubble wrap and slipped inside a red velvety drawstring pouch. The pouch is somewhat flimsy and wouldn't be enough protection for travel. Nor does the drawstring close tight enough to keep the toy inside the pouch. As for gift giving, I would place this inside a nicer bag.

The first time I ever saw a glass dildo was years ago on one of HBO's Real Sex TV shows. At the time, I thought "Why would anyone use glass? What if it broke?". Little did I know then. Also on the show, one man used a glass toy like a rotary telephone on his girlfriend and she certainly seemed to love it. The thought of that particular toy stayed with me for many years. When I found an affordable version on Eden, I bought it as quickly as I could! Sadly, when I received my Pink Rotator, there was a nasty, deep scratch on the head. Thankfully, Eden has a great return policy and I received its replacement in two weeks.

As others have said before me, the pink of the Pink Rotator is barely noticeable, but I didn't purchase this for its color. The best part about this toy, in my opinion, is its bulbous head. It feels really good while thrusting, especially when compared with the smaller shaft. Because this is a shorter toy with a flared base, I worry less about accidentally bruising my cervix from thrusting too hard.

Rotating the toy is also a lot of fun, though a little awkward at first. It took me a bit to get the hang of turning the toy instead of thrusting, but it was worth it! The head does hit where my g-spot is and provides a neat sensation. I really don't like internal texture, but the swirled shaft felt great and didn't rub me the wrong way. The nubs on the outside plate/base didn't quite hit my clit though. I had to lift the dildo up slightly to get them to make contact, though that took pressure away from my g-spot.

I know some people have had trouble turning the toy by themselves, so they had a partner take control. I don't currently have a partner, so I had to play all by myself. I found placing some lube on the outside of the toy (on the base where it makes contact with the body) made rotating the toy a lot easier and created less drag on my skin and labia. I also noticed that placing a tiny bit on my fingers that controlled the handle made turning that easier as well. As for turning the toy itself, I kept my hand in one position and lightly grasped the bulb on the handle with my fingers. Instead of turning my whole hand, I let the handle slide through my fingers while I turned it which let me spin all the way around without hurting my hand or having to stop mid-rotation. I've also found that just simply clenching around this toy while using a clit vibe feels awesome!

The bag that comes with this toy is honestly kind of crappy and won't protect the Pink Rotator very well. As I've done with all my other glass pieces, I simply hand sewed a drawstring pouch from an old hoodie.

I do honestly love this toy, though. It takes a little practice to get used to rotating it instead of thrusting, but thrusting with it feels awesome, too! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different. I would even recommend this to beginners as a first glass toy because its shorter length is less intimidating than some other toys.
