With the Goliath, pleasure is just a stone's throw away!
Bottom line: Goliath is substantial enough to feel VERY filling yet has enough "squish" to slide in easily. I'm still smiling! I have a feeling Goliath and I are going to become very good friends!

Pros
Nice and thick for a VERY full feeling.
Cons
The surface texture (not the veins, but the silicone itself) was not as smooth as I expected.
Okay, I'm not a seasoned toy connoisseur; in fact, until I found Tantus, I actually thought I didn't like dildos or vibrators. Boy, was I wrong! I don't know if it was just my [distant] past experience with lower quality products, but whatever it was, I'm elated to have recently discovered some of the fantastic toys available today. Lately, I've been scooping up all the interesting ones I can find!
This review is to tell you about my most recent purchase: the Goliath. The pearly pink color is gorgeous to look at, and the silicone material is completely odorless. At first, I was a little worried that the 1.75'' girth might be hard to take, so I slathered him in lots of water-based lube (my favorite is Maximus). I found he's just squishy enough to ease in gently and provide a VERY full feeling, but I can see how he could be too big for some. The prominent veins add interesting tactile sensations as Goliath slides in and out, and the surprisingly powerful bullet vibrator is just icing on the cake. I felt the vibration much more at the base, but it was still detectable towards the head. The bullet produces a soft hum that isn't too loud or distracting. Even without turning on the bullet Goliath did the trick!
I'll have to post an update later about whether or not I've convinced my husband to give him a whirl (with a condom over Goliath, of course!). I'm not sure I would even be brave enough to try Goliath anally! He's a pretty big boy!
Goliath is made of 100% silicone; therefore, he must ONLY be used with water-based lube. Silicone-based lube will damage his beautiful surface. The reason I love silicone toys is that they're completely body-safe and clean-up is a breeze! You can wash Goliath with antibacterial soap, boil him for five minutes, soak him in a 10% bleach/90% water solution, or run him through the dishwasher. Silicone is also non-porous, which means there are no tiny nooks & crannies that can harbor harmful germs. It does attract lint and hair (especially pet hair), so I'd recommend storing Goliath somewhere out of their reach. Another nice thing about silicone is it will retain temperature really well, but I haven't tried out that aspect yet -- I wasn't patient enough to take the time to warm him up before use.

Thank you for viewing Goliath – strap-on dildo discontinued review page!
@unfulfilled: I'll be checking out the Acute soon. It's a more manageable size at 1.25'' wide and only 6'' long.
Hope to see you around, asphyxia!
@Antipova, Thanks for the tip! I was thinking about becoming a student!
