Where have you been all my life?

This is my favorite silicone dildo I've tried to date. Its material, size, and design make it feel more realistic than any sex toy I've tried....and I'm having trouble imagining how any toy could feel more real. This toy is simply heavenly.

Use

This is a wonderfully realistic and versatile dildo. It's about the size of a very average penis, so beginners and experienced users alike should be able to take it comfortably (either vaginally or anally) and appreciate its wonderful material, strong suction cup, and incredibly lifelike feel.

It has a nice strong, sturdy suction cup that sticks very well to pretty much any flat, non-porous surface, and also makes it usable in a harness. It has the strongest suction cup of any toy in my collection...although honestly, that's not saying much, as the suction cups on my other dildos barely function at all. Still, this one held strong to the lid of my toilet no matter how much I tugged and pulled at it, though I haven't yet tested it out while in use (I don't really have a great place to use it that way, unfortunately).

I mostly use it as a traditional hand-held dildo, by grasping it by the balls and/or suction cup and thrusting it in and out of my vagina manually. It performs like a champ when used this way, and while it's soft and flexible, it's still rigid enough to hold up to some pretty fast and hard thrusting, which is awesome (I've heard that some of the more bendy dildos have issues in this department, but this guy doesn't appear to have that problem). I don't currently have a partner, so I've only used it solo at this point, but it would be great for partner play, too. You can use it on a partner manually or put it in a harness. I've found that I enjoy holding a small vibrator to the base while it's inside me; it transfers vibrations quite well.

I wouldn't exactly call it travel-friendly, because it looks like a very realistic penis, but it is small enough that it could be concealed in your checked luggage easily enough, so long as you're not horrified by the thought of a TSA agent seeing it if they end up searching your bags.

Since it has no mechanical parts, it's totally waterproof and makes a great bathtime toy.

Material / Texture

The dual-density silicone material on this dildo is absolutely amazing. It's the most realistic-feeling sex toy I've ever felt. If I close my eyes and give it a handjob, it really does feel almost like a human penis.

The outer layer is very soft and squishy, and it has a firmer silicone core that gives it some structural integrity and rigidity (enough for vigorous thrusting), but it still bends and flexes for maximum comfort. The squishy outer layer is soft and silky to the touch, almost like human skin. The dildo has very realistic detailing, with a coronal ridge and veins. Because the material is so squishy, the only aspect of that realistic texture I could actually feel vaginally was the coronal ridge, which delightfully grazes my G-spot. The balls are soft and squishy like a stress ball (and equally fun to squeeze!).

This really is my favorite dildo material out of everything I've tried to date. It's the sex toy material I've been dreaming about. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it's an INCREDIBLE lint and hair magnet. Like, way more so than my other silicone toys. However, I've found that's easily solved (even in my apartment full of pet hair) by keeping a pack of wet wipes with my toys, and just giving it a quick wipe-down right before use (and, of course, cleaning it thoroughly after every use). I also keep it in its own ziplock baggie, so it's not picking up cat hair every time I open my toy box.

Design / Shape / Size

This dildo has a wonderfully realistic size and overall design. The details are impressive, with a coronal ridge, urethral slit, frenulum, and soft veins that squish like the real deal. The realism kind of ends at the scrotum, which honestly doesn't look all that realistic, but the balls are squishy and fun to squeeze, and also make a great handle, so they're fun even if they don't really resemble a human scrotum all that closely. The color (a sort of pinky-beige) also isn't all that realistic, but it's at least a somewhat close approximation. I've noticed that in general, realistic dildos struggle a bit with replicating realistic color (hey, it's not easy to artificially replicate actual human skin tone), but this definitely isn't the worst I've seen. It looks more pink-ish in person than it does in the pictures on the product page.

Total length is about 7", with about 5.5" of that being insertable, while its girth is just a little over 4" at the widest point (which is a slight bulge slightly below the head), so it's about the size of an average human penis. It's perfect for those of us who aren't size queens/kings, and it adds to the overall realistic feel of the toy. It's great for playing out masturbation fantasies because it feels so close to what most human males pack in their trousers. That said, it's definitely going to be too small for some people. Even I occasionally find myself craving something a little more filling (and I wouldn't consider myself a size queen at all)....so I just ordered the Dual Density Indulger, which is the larger version of this one, haha.

Performance

This dildo has performed beautifully at every use I've found for it thus far. It's rigid enough to hold up to vigorous thrusting, while being soft enough that you don't have to worry about injuring yourself if you get a little over-excited. As I mentioned, the suction cup appears to work extremely well, although I haven't had a chance to test that out "in action" yet.

Because it's so flexible and has no curve, it's not the best toy for applying direct G-spot stimulation, but I've found that the pronounced coronal ridge does lightly stimulate my G-spot when I thrust it (though your experience may vary, depending on your anatomy and sensitivity). If you're specifically looking for a G-spot toy, I'd recommend looking for something curved and made from firmer material.

It has no mechanical parts, so you don't have to worry about batteries or charging, and it's not going to die or break down on you. So long as you care for it properly, this dildo should give you many years of fun.

Care and Maintenance

This dildo is made out of 100% silicone, which means it's totally body-safe, non-porous, hypoallergenic, and you can sterilize it. You get the squish of a TPR toy with the safety of silicone. Hooray!

This toy can be cleaned with mild soap and water, toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution, boiling for 3 minutes, or even putting it on the top rack of your dishwasher (just don't use detergent). The material is non-porous, so it won't harbor body fluids, bacteria, or any other nasty microbes. Once it's clean, you can either dry it with a lint-free towel or leave it to air-dry. I tend to prefer using a towel, because there's so much pet hair in my home that if I leave it out to dry, it'll just end up collecting a bunch of hair, and I end up needing to wash it all over again. For storage, just be sure to keep it out of direct sunlight and don't let it come into prolonged contact with other silicone toys. I find it useful to store it in a ziplock baggie; this keeps it clean and keeps it separated from its silicone siblings in my toy box.

The only other thing you need to be aware of with silicone is to never use it with silicone-based lube. Stick to water-based with silicone toys. Water-based lube is always a safe choice any time you're unsure if a lube will play well with your toy materials, because water-based lube is safe to use with all materials. (When in doubt, always test out a small bit of lube on an inconscpicuous area of the toy, like the base, and wait to see if the silicone becomes at all sticky or gooey. If it does, you know you can't combine that lube with that toy, and you should quickly and thoroughly wash off the gooey bit.)

Packaging

The dildo arrived with several other purchases in Eden's usual nondescript brown shipping box. Nosey neighbors or housemates will never have an inkling of the fun and excitement packed into that boring brown box. Inside the box, the toys were nestled in brown packing paper, as usual, and the Dual Density Silicone Dildo was packaged in a simple sealed plastic bag. As always, I appreciated Eden's lack of bulky, wasteful packaging. However, it doesn't come with any sort of printed information or storage bag (which is fine by me, it doesn't need instructions and does just fine in a ziplock bag for storage). This is par for the course for a lot of Eden's products, so it's what I was expecting, and it doesn't bother me. I know some people get miffed when everything doesn't come in its own special protective gift box, but I've always appreciated Eden's efforts to cut down on unnecessary landfill waste. Also, the only time I've ever had a product arrive damaged from Eden was one of the few products that DID come in its own protective box, so I'm not convinced they offer all that much actual protection during shipping (Eden promptly sent me a replacement, so it's all good).

Experience

I'm finding this to be an extremely versatile sex toy. I can't get off from it when it's the only toy I'm using, because it doesn't provide strong G-spot stimulation and obviously does nothing for my clit (I never expected this toy to get me off on its own), but it's my favorite dildo to pair with clit toys. I get especially good results using it with my Satisfyer Pro Penguin, or the Magic Force with its clit attachment. I highly recommend this dildo to anyone who is looking for something that's not too big and looks and feels extremely realistic.
Follow-up commentary
I still adore this little dildo! Whenever I want to use something that feels like a realistic, average-sized penis, this is the first toy I reach for. The material just feels so good, and the size is modest and not at all intimidating. I really can't recommend Eden's dual-density silicone dildos highly enough!
