Don't get me wrong, I've had plenty of fun with this toy, but it was the first toy I've ever owned and I'm a virgin so not a lot of items have been inserted into me, so maybe something glass with no give wasn't the best first thing. The head is just a tiny bit big, since I'm a noob and still working with a pretty tight space, so it can be a little uncomfortable for a minute, but once I get going, it's actually a really good toy.

I feel like it's good for a person who is new to glass though because it's entirely smooth, it doesn't have any real texture to it which is good because, once adequately lubricated, it slides pretty easily where some I've seen are overly bumpy for something so hard.

My reasons for choosing it as a first toy were mainly size (it may have turned out to be just a tad big for me, but it's really not that big. Around an inch and a half across at the widest part of the head), hygiene (I wanted something totally non-porous for easy cleaning), and aesthetics (it's really pretty!). Looks were important because I can't enjoy myself with a realistic, penis-shaped object. I find overly-realistic dildos actually kind of gross, personally. Disembodied body parts really freak me out even when they're unnatural colors. I'd feel like I must have gone out in my sleep and removed parts of some poor purple man. Not sexy to me. And this dildo is just penis-shaped enough to do it's job while not ACTUALLY looking like one. Perfect for me in those regards, but I wish I'd thought through the fact that, with it being glass, it get's COLD just being stored, which could be considered a plus if you're into temperature play (which I'm not), so I have to just hold it until it warms up, but hey, it's a really sexy shape in my opinion, so just kinda fondling it before hand is kinda fun, so it's not that big of a problem.

The coldness and the lack of give are the only downsides I have though, and that's going to be an issue with ANY glass toy, so if glass is your thing, these issues are par for the course, I guess, so you wouldn't be as bothered by them as I am. Overall, I've had a lot of fun with it, but I'm thinking it's just not for me and as soon as I have enough money, it's going to be replaced with something more up my alley. It was a good experiment and a good first experience with toys, but I think there are toys out there that are better for my personal preferences.
