We hope our Nexus Jr. grows up!
Too soft, small, and flexible for our preferences. It was a great experience for us however, as an afterthought we should have started with the "regular" Nexus and not the Jr.

Pros
Good quality and price compared to Feeldoe or Share products.
Cons
Might be too small even for some beginners.
We have been intrigued at the idea of pegging for a while. After careful evaluation of all the options available we chose the Nexus Jr. as our introductory double dong. Our primary reason for selection was overall appeal, price and size. Since this would be my first opportunity to “drive” I was afraid to hurt my poor hubby due to my own lack of experience so we agreed to start out small. That is what we got!
The Nexus Jr. arrived in traditional Vixen Creations packaging being a clear acrylic plastic tube with red caps on each end. Vixen recommends that the Nexus Jr. be stored in the tube when not in use. This is a very good idea as the supple silicone material will simply gather lint and all kinds of “fuzzy stuff” if it is simply thrown in a drawer or a “toy box.” The blue double dong is a most interesting toy to view. It has a 5” dildo which curves up on one side and then 5 ½” dildo “out the front” and between them is a base of sorts which will keep the Nexus Jr. from pushing in too far in either direction. The base is also a means to fit the Nexus Jr. in a harness. I only encountered a hint of “rubber” smell when I first removed it from the tube. When my husband first saw the Nexus Jr. he was slightly disappointed because it is very soft and flexible and he actually prefers something a little more firm during “P-Spot” play. I assured him it will be fun regardless and I wanted to make sure he didn't get hurt. One other item of note is the diameter is rated at 1 ¼” for each side however, the average we measured on ours is only slightly over 1” and up to 1 ¼” near the base or at the point of full insertion.
During use we found the Nexus Jr. a bit disappointing when used with a harness due to the size. With some creativity we did manage successful pegging by modifying our position. The Nexus Jr. is also "handy" to use as a conventional dildo as the opposing dong makes a good handle. We are still novices at pegging so with some more practice we trust our Nexus Jr. might bring some more pleasurable experiences.

Experience
Time for test drive! I first tried to hold the Nexus Jr. with my PC muscles however, there was no use. I guess I still have some work to do down there because I could not hold it in place without clinching my thighs together. The Nexus Jr. is a pretty heavy piece of silicone and the relatively small diameter didn't help much. Anticipating this would be an issue, I also order a Mia-Z double strap harness to ensure success. It was a bit difficult to get the Nexus Jr. installed as well as get all the straps adjusted while we were in the middle of frenzied passion. My most sincere recommendation is that if you are new to harness play, you should get your dildo in place and everything adjusted prior to your love session. This was a mood killer the first time out! Once everything was adjusted and lubed up it was time for the big test. Unfortunately my husband's concern about the size being too small was legitimate. He found the experience very erotic however; he didn't get much pleasure out of the actual penetration because it was too small and soft compared to his favorite toys. I found the same to be true. Just so the evening wasn't a complete bust we tried another position. I removed the Nexus Jr. from the harness and I pegged my hubby in a “scissor” position which actually worked pretty good and we both enjoyed very much.
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I guess I can say that "I have a handle on the Nexus Jr." now. Essentially in lieu of the traditional pegging scenario, I have been using the pony end of the Nexus as a convenient handle. That works well, and my hubby doesn't feel like he is being cheated. I have tried it in my Mia-Z harness a couple of times, since our initial use, and I just can't get the Nexus adjusted properly where I can get a good angle and adequate thrusting. No worries, we have moved on to other dildos that work well with no hassle. I do wish the Nexus Jr. worked to my initial expectation.
