Tryst with the Amethyst
The Amethyst is the best non-vibrating g-spot toy I've ever used. Anyone looking to add to their toy collection who enjoys g-spotting should own this toy. It's beautiful, easy to clean and made of a very safe material. There are no bad things to say about this gem!

I'm a sucker for anything that comes in a deep green, so when I saw this toy, I knew I needed to own it. I was thrilled to discover that not only is the Amethyst beautiful and body safe, but it gets the job done. With this toy, you really get two tasks accomplished in one. Each side is designed to perform it's own unique function, and do them well. The curved end is an amazing g-spot seeker, and you'll be amazed how easy it is to find and then stimulate your g-spot. The other end is great for vaginal use as well, but provides a straight shot with texture, which is great for careful thrusting.
The total length of the Amethyst is 7 1/2" end to end -- 3 1/2" of that is the straight side, and 4" is the curved side. The straight side has a diameter of 1 1/8" at the first knob, and 1 1/4" at the others. On the curved side, the diameter of the tip is 1 1/8", and 3/4" for the tube part.
The Amethyst would work very well for temperature play as well. You could place the toy in a bowl of cold or warm water before use, or alternate between the two.
Ahh...the lovely g-spot tip of this toy. When I first looked at it, I thought it might be too skinny or too pointed to really get the job done. I could not have been more wrong. This toy seems to seek out your g-spot and really go to work. You can get a nice rocking motion going with the curve nestled against your body, and the pinpoint pressure of that tip feels amazing. The pointed end is just pointed enough to provide the pressure you need, but not too pointed as to cause discomfort. I think this is the best non-vibrator g-spot toy that I have ever used. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys g-spotting.
The straight end of this toy is amazing also. It consists of an arrow shaped tip, two bubbles and something shaped sort of like a washer. You don't get any uncomfortable popping sensations or nubby textures, you just an amazing variance of sensation. As with all glass toys, you want to be careful thrusting so you don't bruise or injure yourself internally. Slow, purposeful thrusting with this end feels amazing. Both ends of the toy are great for use while your partner goes down on you.
This toy is not intended or designed for anal play, but the curve works so well for g-spotting that I imagine it would work well for prostate massage as well. You would need to be extremely careful and have a firm grip on the toy to ensure safety.
The Amethyst is made of borosilicate glass, which is non-porous, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, latex-free and phthalate-free. It has no smell or taste. Borosilicate glass is better known as Pyrex, the bakeware and dishes popular in kitchens the world over. As the toy is glass, obviously it is waterproof.
Cleaning the Amethyst is simple. You can wash the toy with soap and water, or you can use your favorite toy cleaner. It can be sterilized by placing it in boiling water for three minutes, or washing it in your dishwasher. Because it is a glass toy, you can use any lube you like. It does not tend to collect lint or hair.
The Amethyst comes wrapped in bubble wrap, within a plain red storage pouch. The pouch is ok, but is not padded. For storage, be sure to avoid storing the Amethyst up against other glass toys, or anywhere it might bang against anything which would break it. No instructions, care information or paperwork came with the toy. It is pretty self explanatory, but you can consult the many reviews for tips on using this toy.

This is still one of the toys I reach for when I want a reliable G-spot orgasm. It has held up well. I have no complaints!
