Let me start off by saying that this was the first dildo my partner and I had ever bought together. It can look a bit intimidating, but let me tell you this: you don't have to be a seasoned veteran of dildos/strap-on play to enjoy the Curve! I really can't say enough about how much we love this toy.

The ridges are amazing. They're pronounced enough that the feeling of each bump makes this toy truly pleasurable at each and every depth and speed of penetration! The ridges are still subtle and smooth enough to be comfortable, though (more subtle than the Curve's cousin the Tantus Echo... we have both and they're great). The angle on this dildo is definitely acute, but it's fabulous if you like firm, direct g-spot action, as my girlfriend does. Another thing that's great about this toy is that it's body-safe silicone and can be boiled (remember: because it's silicone, don't use silicone lube). Now, having had a few dildos, I can say that this is probably the firmest I've ever held (be it in a store or in my own home collection). This makes it wonderful, again, for firm g-spot stimulation and ease of penetration and manipulation. Because it's so firm, I wouldn't recommend this for packing. The base is very thick, and stays well in my harness (I use the Spareparts Joque Harness).

This is important to note: I personally find that, due to the thickness of the base and the firmness of the material, my pelvis sometimes gets bruised from continual, vigorous use as the wearer. That being said, this is still without a doubt my go-to dildo because I love the firm, all-over clit stimulation that it provides. (If you are worried about this being a problem, I stuff a sock between the base of the dildo and my pelvis and it works like a charm!)

Size: The insertable length is between 5.5-5.75 inches, which is nice for g-spotting, but it may leave some wanting deeper penetration. Additionally, because some of this length is curved, you're getting even less ultimate depth... so keep that in mind as well. I know the first thing my girlfriend said when I suggested investing in a second dildo was "OOH! Can we get one that's longer?" The girth (1.5-1.75 inches) is just right for us, but may be too much for some, especially given the ridges-- that's a lot of stimulation!

Care: I personally use mild soap and warm water to clean this toy, however you could just as easily use a toy-cleaner or put this in your dishwasher. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to remember to boil it if you are using this toy with multiple partners or partners whose physical sexual health may be compromised (STIs). After I wash my toy I let it air dry on my dishrack, and then store it in my designated toy-drawer. I find it can collect lint easily, so I sometimes will use a sensitive personal wipe to clean it down before use.
