Tough Love
Although the Goddess by Tantus has some very tempting features, those looking for softer dildos or toys that stimulate the G-spot may find this particular toy to be a disappointment.
Published:
Pros
Aesthetically pleasing, 100% silicone, vibrating capability.
Cons
Silicone is very dense, lacks adequate g-spot curve.
I am on a quest for the perfect non-phallic, harness-compatible silicone dildo--something beautiful and non-representational that is the perfect combination of both soft and textured. This search led me to the Goddess, a graceful looking dildo from Tantus with smooth ridges reminiscent of ocean tides. One thing is for certain, this dildo looks and feels very sexy. The added bonus? It comes with a bullet, giving it vibrating capabilities, too. Things were looking very promising with the Goddess.
Unfortunately, upon actually trying out the toy, my hopes were quickly dashed as I found that this dildo was not the perfect toy I'd been looking for. I felt that a few small details took away from the experience.
On the plus side, the size of the Goddess is very versatile. It's about 6” insertable and 1-1/2” in diameter, which is fairly average. Though it was a little long for my diminutive taste, my partner and I agreed that the girth was perfect. I also loved the hygiene factor of this toy. Because it is 100% silicone, it can be cleaned with soap and warm water, toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution, by boiling, or put in the dishwasher (top shelf, no detergent or soap). The Goddess' base makes it great for use in a harness, too.
I had mixed feelings about the ridges though. On one hand, they feel very lovely for slow, sensual insertion. In combination with how dense the silicone this toy is made of, however, the ridges might be a little too much for some—myself included—when using this toy for thrusting.
The Goddess also is unfortunately not ideal for G-spot stimulation. Though the tip is slightly contoured, it is not curved enough to put direct pressure on the G-spot.
Overall, the Goddess was merely a lukewarm toy for me. If only it had been a little softer, a little shorter, a little more curved. It seems my search for the perfect silicone dildo continues.

Experience
The Goddess is not my first Tantus product. At different points I have owned two other Tantus products, the Feeldoe and Throb. Though both 100% silicone, the materials felt vastly different. The silicone used in the Goddess is comparable to the Feeldoe—dense and fairly rigid, lacking the softness I prefer of some other silicone dildos I've owned like Tantus' Throb or any of Fun Factory's products.
When using the bullet in the dildo, it will be easiest to remove later if you put a few drops of lube into the opening before putting the bullet it. As always, silicone toys should only be used with water-based lubricants.

Thanks for the review. I had been eying this toy and now I'm not so sure.

thanks for the review....

That's really interesting that you didn't derive any G-spot pleasure from this, because this is the first toy that I felt G-spot pressure with.

That is interesting that you did feel pressure from it. My partner did not feel substantial pressure from it either.

Thanks for reviewing. The ridges on this toy look promising and I like toys with texture, so it's too bad that you didn't get G-spot stimulation from this one.
