This was the first glass toy I have ever owned and is great for beginners, especially those that have never used glass dildos before. I found this to be a great starter toy especially if I am going to be playing for a while. The g-spot stimulation from this toy is excellent for producing natural lubrication. While I am not usually a squirter I found I come closer to it with this toy than with any other. Due to the material this toy is made from it is not suitable for use with a harness. It can be used with a partner but care must be taken so injury does not occur.

The bullet that comes with this toy is alright. Some of the settings on it are fun, but I found that is is loud and a bit obnoxious. While vibrations do carry through the glass ok, if the bullet isn't seated just right in the loop it makes a loud clanking noise. However, without the vibe in the loop I found it easier to use as I could just hook my finger through the loop for a better grip.

Icicles No. 4 is made of glass which is a non-porous material. Any type of lubrication can be used with it, and it can be heated or cooled as a person sees fit. Though take care as glass can hold temperature for a while you don't want to get it too hot or too cold.

The size of this dildo is great for beginners. It is very thin and will not give a feeling of fullness that some other toys might. However, the g-spot nub is perfect for the design. I don't think this toy was meant for stretching, but more for g-spot play and it works perfectly for that. Because of the thinness, this toy is also suitable for anal play in beginners as well.

The vibrator that comes with this toy is passable and can be enjoyed on its own. It has a wide variety of vibration patterns and I found the wave pattern to be amazing. Despite this I think it could have been designed better. The bullet is made of hard cheap plastic and the toy itself can get rather loud. It also has a problem with overheating. I found that if used for too long it becomes uncomfortably warm.

Taking care of this toy is easy, at least the glass portion. Glass can be cleaned and sterilized in a variety of ways. If you do not share your toys hot soap and water is sufficient. If you want to ensure sterilization so that you can share your toys this toy can also be boiled, is dishwasher safe, and can be put in an autoclave.

The packaging for this toy is nice as it can be used to store the toy. It is also rather pleasant to look at.

I have to say my overall opinion of this toy is pleasant. While the bullet vibe that comes with it can be hit or miss, the toy itself is well made. Nothing gets me wetter faster, and I have found this is one toy I can use with minimal to no lube which is rare.

I consider my overall experience with this toy to be positive and I would happily buy other toys in the Icicles line.
