This dildo will rock your world!
I would highly recommend this toy to anyone looking for a life-like dildo with the added benefit of a strong suction cup for hands-free fun. Though the Sensafirm material is not as hygienic as silicone, it does wonders for making the toy appear realistic and giving it a veeery pleasing feel.
Published:
Pros
Highly realistic material, natural size & length (big but not scary!), strong suction.
Cons
Toy curves down (have to turn it around to hit the G-spot), material is high maintenance.
I waited some time before I chose to review this toy, because I wanted to make sure that my impressions were accurate, and I'm really glad that I did. My initial impressions were not as stellar as the rave review you're about to read. Here's why:
There are two or three slightly-imperfect things about this dildo. The first is the material - it's sticky when it's clean and dry. It doesn't feel like real skin at all if you rub your fingers over it. But I will say more about that later. The other issue is the curve of this dildo. It has a natural-looking downward curve to it that is somewhat noticeable when the toy is standing up on its suction cup, and very noticeable when sticking out perpendicular from a surface (e.g., a door or a wall). I found that this curve made easy insertion a little tricky (a problem if you want to ride it hands-free) and that at times it rubbed the wrong spots when inside and was a bit irritating.
Now, with that said, I cannot recommend this dildo highly enough for those who are looking for a realistic penis toy to play with. Have I confused you? I hope not. Here are its pros:
The material - Okay, I know I said it's sticky when it's clean and dry (it is), but this Sensafirm stuff is pretty great. In your hands, it feels dense and heavy just as a real-life huge cock like this one would feel. Squeezing it, you will feel the firmness with a slight give or flex to it. The color is very true to life and the material looks quite a lot like skin. There is almost no smell to it, and there is no taste to it. One of my favorite things about this toy is the delicious sensation of stroking it. I have been cleaning it with warm water and soap (more about hygiene later) and it is heavenly to rub your hands up and down the shaft once it is soapy - just like the real thing.
The size - In the event that it was unclear from the product specs, let me reiterate that this bad boy is huge! A whopping 9 inches long (7 inches insertable) and 1.75 inches wide, this dildo is not for the faint-hearted. It feels fabulous when used vaginally and hits all the right spots. I found that it is most pleasurable when turned upside down, with the balls facing up, since this will cause the natural curve of the toy to point up and stimulate the G-spot. Yum, yum! I tried it anally (with a condom) as well, and although I could work it in, it was just too large for me to use comfortably.
The suction cup - I was very specific about choosing a toy that had a suction cup, because I wanted to be able to enjoy this one hands-free. It took a little experimenting, but I was finally able to figure out a few positions in which the suction cup worked well, and I could use it hands-free. One of these is obviously when sitting on it and riding it - although I found the length to be a little too much when sitting directly on it. Another position that works well is lying on one's back with your butt up against a wall or door and your legs kicked straight up against the wall. Positioning will take a little finagling but this allows for both hands to be free to roam elsewhere. Lastly, of course, you can use it without the suction cup as just a regular dildo, and it works well for these purposes - the balls and suction cup make a great handhold.
How it works with lube - I was astounded to find that it took only a tiny bit of lube to coat this whole toy and make it slick as ice. I use Maximus water-based lube, which worked marvelously, and it only took a few drops (literally!) to make the whole dildo super slick.
Hygiene - Clean up was very easy. I washed it with warm water and soap, since I use a water-based lube and am not sharing this toy. If you plan to share it, or use it more than one way (i.e., vaginally or anally) you need to use a condom, since the Sensafirm material is highly porous and can harbor bacteria. Its porousness is visibly evident - just submerse it in water and when you pull it out you can see big air bubbles all over the surface. So consider yourself warned. It dried easily with a towel and didn't pick up lint.

Great review. I've found from a similar toy that the Sensafirm while quite porous feels pretty great.

Thanks! I agree - I really fell in love with the feeling of the Sensafirm. It definitely has a life-like quality to it.

I keep swearing to myself that I won't buy something made of a high-maintenance material like sensafirm... but then these wondrous, glowing reviews keep tempting me. Kudos for going back and giving it a fair chance, even though you were less than thrilled initially.

LL, I think it's really worth trying if you don't have any of the life-like toys in your toybox! Granted, you have to always use a condom if you want to share it - but if you're like me, you'll love it so much you won't want to share ;-)
