This Big El Diablo is Almost Perfect
I had high hopes for the Rascal El Diablo silicone dildo. Although it fulfilled my hopes for a thick and pleasurable toy, its seam and contrasting texture dashed my others.

Pros
100% silicone, thick, great curve for g-spot & p-spot stimulation
Cons
Annoying seam, contrasting texture
The first thing that drew me to the Rascal El Diablo is its red color. Given its name I would say the color is to be expected. It's really a lovely red, too. Not too bright and not too dark. The second thing that drew me is that it's made of silicone. The third and last thing that drew me to this dildo is that it appeared rather girthy in the pics (there was no overview at the time I requested this). I had never before had a big dildo made entirely of silicone. And lucky for me, this bad boy measures in at 5 1/2" around (1 3/4" thick). So, yeah, I don't recommend this for beginners. By the by, it's also 7" long.
As I said, it's made of silicone so there isn't any smell or taste. This marks the first time I've had a large dildo that didn't smell horribly. Particles of dust and lint and whatnot stick to this toy, so I recommend rinsing it off before each use. You can sterilize this dildo, so get your cooking pans, dishwasher, or bleach ready for when you want to clean it. Or use just soap and water.
The El Diablo is harness compatible, but I seem to have misplaced my harness, so I cannot comment on how well it works this way. However, I can say that the base is great to hold on to while thrusting. The underside of the flared base on mine is warped, but it will stand up albeit wobbly. The body is flexible and has just a bit of squish to it. Flexing the dildo does require some strength; it's not going to just flop about. The shaft is curved perfectly for g-spot and p-spot stimulation and it has a wonderfully pronounced head. I love the way it pops in and out of my vagina.
Unfortunately, here's where the design goes awry. First: The shaft and base are half glossy and half matte silicone. I don't care for it from an aesthetic point of view, and I didn't always care for the feel of the contrast while thrusting with it. I found using a good bit of water-based lube (never silicone unless it passes a patch test) helped to minimize the sensation. I feel the manufacturer should have gone with one or the other. But, who knows, you just might like it more than me.
The other design problem is the very noticeable seam that runs the length of it. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with it. It's unsightly and sometimes it's annoying during penetration and other times it actually heightens the pleasure for me. It really depends on my mood. It felt especially nice being rubbed up and down against my engorged clit. Unfortunately, lube doesn't really dull the intense feeling of the seam.
I used a fingernail to peel off some excess material from the seam, but I have not tried filing it down as I worry about ruining the dildo. However, I may try this on down the road and I will let you all know how that goes. Those two flaws are the only beefs I have with the El Diablo. It fills me up very well and the curved shaft does a lovely number on my g-spot. I had wanted to give this four stars because I do enjoy using it for the most part, but those flaws are hard to overlook. So, 3 stars it is.

I have to confess--I never tried to remove the seam. Why? Because I started to enjoy it more. I really dig the almost-too-much intensity of the seam inside me and on my clitoris. So I let it be. And I'm glad I did. I've gotten a bit more used to the contrasting glossy and matte silicone, but it remains my least favorite part of the toy. Overall, though, this remains a solid good dildo.

Thank you for viewing Rascal El Diablo silicone dong – dildo discontinued review page!
Wonderful review.
I've been kind of looking at it, and I love the red, but that seam just sounds irritating, and I'm not sure about the matte+slick silicone thing. Hm.
At 2 strawberries it stays.
P.S. I haven't forgotten about the Allegro, I just haven't gotten around to shipping just yet.
Great review! Looks like a fun toy.
