Vixskin Maverick is fabulously designed toy that caters to those who know they like'm big - or who are interesting in exploring/expanding their limits. We were definitely in the later category - expanding our limits.

Maverick is a versatile toy, well suited for a harness (make sure you can get a 2" shaft into yours), partner play - and solo - using the suction cup base. The base is not a classic suction cup like you see on classic jelly dildos - but we actually find it works quite well on ceramic surfaces - both horizontal and vertical.

We don't use dildos orally - but if you like that sort of thing - there isn't any reason not to.

What about anal? Well all you experts out there know to look for a flared base - so most harness compatible toys are also anal safe - as is Maverick - if your feeling brave!

Many will want to warm up with a smaller toy - but the tapered head and soft Vixskin material make the Maverick much more comfortable that you would imagine for a 2" shaft. We absolutely adore Vixskin because my wife likes deep penetration but obviously does not want a bruised cervix. Like Johnny - Maverick can me wielded masterfully to stimulate the g-spot and deeper a-spot.

For all but the most accomplished size queens - ample use of your favorite lube (except silicone) is recommended. Its safe to say that silicone lube should be avoided with all Vixskin and O2 dual density silicone toys.

Did I already say we love Vixskin - well we adore Vixskin! Odor free, non-porous, can be sterilized - and oh so comfortable. The outer surface of Vixskin is soft - even plush, but the core is plenty firm enough for all uses - even anal.

Maverick is a 'realistic' toy - however unless you hang around porn sets or have the pleasure of knowing a man in the top 2%, you've never had a partner this large. What the realistic design does do is take advantage of thousands of years of evolution which has tuned a woman's body to prefer this shape.

When I asked my wife what she wanted me to convey to the readers - she just gasped and said - "It feels sooooo real!" I just laughed and wished I could be that real!

Something else that is real about the Maverick is the pronounced urethral bulge and the lack of exaggerated veining. Ours is Carmel color - because we have a couple of chocolate ones and needed a different color. It is actually nearly the same color as I am.

The head of the Maverick has a bit of a shine - like old fashioned silicone - this actually helps with insertion - and it's plenty soft enough for comfort. As with a real penis there is a size reduction just after glans - or as some call it the 'helmet'.

The reduction doesn't last long as the shaft steadily increases from 1.75" at the tip - to a little over 2" at the base. This taper is quite useful to facilitate insertion - and to increase the stretch as you go deeper. The pronounced glans of the Maverick is an absolute g-spot/s-spot dream. Although the shaft bends only slightly - the girth of the Maverick keeps strong pressure just where it's needed - and with thrusting the raking motion is spectacular.

There is a ridge on the shaft passed the glans - but it has not been an issue for us. The ridge is soft like the rest of the shaft.

The shaft has a little more than 7" for insertion - about perfect for us. One complaint my wife has about the Outlaw is that it's too long - 9" is just too much for her.

The Maverick is a 5-star performer. The plush silicone is comfortable, the tapered head eases entry, the shaft size gives a great stretch - while the glans provides the all important g-spot and a-spot stimulation.

The ways I've used the Maverick to great effect are:
Penetrate deeply then use shallow thrusting to keep firm pressure on her a-spot - this is sure to cause gushing

Penetrate deeply then use longer thrusting strokes - this provides for a raking of the glans across her g-spot and alternating increase-decrease of pressure at the vaginal opening. The results are usually an orgasm that shakes her whole body - and lasts for a really long time.

Turn the shaft around so that the head goes toward her spine and finds the pfe-zone (opposite the a-spot). Going this way the shaft bottoms so that the base presses on her vulva - and her opening gets the maximum 2+" stretch. Another great choice for a gushing orgasm.

So whatever method you use - make sure to have your Liberator Thoe under you to keep from soaking the bed!

Although not as easy to clean as glass or metal - Vixskin is the king of soft body friendly materials. We use hot soapy water to remove all traces of bodily fluids and lube - then towel dry and put back in the tube. When necessary or desired, a sterilizing alcohol or bleach cleaning can be added.

At the risk of repeating myself - stay away from silicone lubes. We have our preferred vegetable oil based lube - and off course water based works with everything.

The Maverick comes in the typical Vixskin plastic tube. The tube is perfect for keeping Maverick clean and away from other toys. It's generally not a good idea to have silicone toys stored in touch with one-another.

The tube is cutely decorated - but if you want, the label can be easily removed. I don't know if the plastic is recyclable - but you should probably keep if for storage anyway.

Like many who become toy aficionados - moving up the scale in size and power seems like a natural progression. By the time we got to the Vixskin Outlaw - we figured we had gone too far. For that reason we had put aside the thought of anymore large dildos - thinking that Vixskin Johnny and occasionally the O2 Revolution - would be our max.

We actually planned to get the Bandit - because it is about the same size as Johnny (our then favorite) - but a little longer. Bandit went in and out of stock - then the adventurer in me took over. I read all the positive reviews for the Maverick - crossed my fingers that the tapered head to shaft design would make it a good choice.

BINGO - from the first time I introduced her to 'our newest toy' - she was in love! Bye-bye Johnny - Maverick is the new sheriff in town!

With her well prepared and Maverick well lubed - her inner most desires were stretched, caressed and stroked to perfection! With my sheepish grin replaced by a gaping jaw - she squirted all over the Maverick and me!

It's not often that I have a personal experience to relate. 99% of our toys have been bought for my wife. However, my wife has gone on an extended trip - and I've taken the opportunity to try out some of her toys - including the Maverick.

For someone relatively new to anal - Maverick is intimidating. Although once before I had experimented with Outlaw - it was more accomplishment than pleasure. I wondered if Maverick would be any different.

Although still very much a challenge - Maverick is definitely more comfortable than Outlaw was - and also enjoyed using the suction cup base which I tried on both a flat surface and the wall of the shower.

After adequate warm-up my favorite use for Maverick is to stick it to the shower wall and 'peg myself'. Since my wife isn't into pegging - its as close as I'll get. It was indeed a fun experience.
