The Wizard is a hand-made double ended glass dildo from SSA Glass. Either end can be used for penetration, and each end provides a unique sensation. One end is bulb-shaped, with a tapered tip that allows for smooth and comfortable insertion while the bulged shaft provides internal stimulation. The other end is a large, round ball, which can be inserted vaginally or used as the stopper when the toy is used anally (the rounded end should not be inserted anally first, as the rest of the shaft and toy are much narrower).

This dildo can be used by anyone who enjoys a moderately sized, firm toy, and it can be used anywhere, although care should be taken if the Wizard is used in the shower or tub so that it doesn’t slip out of hand and hit the tub or shower floor.

The Wizard can also be warmed in water or cooled in chilled water or the refrigerator for temperature play; care should be taken not to overheat or overchill the toy.

This toy can be used for thrusting, either vaginally or anally; be careful not to be too vigorous as to cause pain. Anally, very slow thrusting is quite pleasurable.

This toy is made of borosilicate glass, which is strong and resistant to chipping, cracking, and shattering. It’s completely smooth and seamless, requiring little lube for insertion (more should be used if using the Wizard anally), and it’s also body safe. The only texture comes from the toy’s design, with the bulged shaft and rounded/tapered ends.

The Wizard’s double ended design provides for different sensations depending on the end, or head, that’s inserted. It’s 7” long overall, and can be inserted about 5 1/2" from either end.

The tapered head is 1 1/2" long and widens to about 1 1/4" in diameter, while the rounded head is close to 1 5/8” in diameter. The shaft, which is about 3 1/2" long, bulges out to 1 1/4" in the center and narrows to 1” below each of the ends.

When used vaginally, either end may be inserted; those that find the 1 1/4" diameter lacking will enjoy the wider, balled end. Neither end provides much in the way of g-spot stimulation.

Anally, the tapered end and shaft can be inserted. Since the shaft narrows below the head, it provides a good resting place before inserting the shaft, and the balled end is large enough to make the Wizard safe to use this way.

The Wizard is a lot of fun to use. Vaginally, it’s easy to insert the tapered end, and the rounded end provides a good place to hold on to (although you’ll want to make sure your hands aren’t covered with lube to keep better control). The bulge in the shaft can be felt during use when thrusting this way. Inserting the rounded end first provides a fuller feeling, especially when thrusting, although the Wizard is harder to hold and control.

Anally, the tapered tip is comfortable and easy to insert, and the way the shaft bulges makes gentle thrusting pleasant.

The Wizard is easy to clean. You can wash it with liquid soap and water, boil it, run it through the dishwasher on the top rack (no soap), or use your favorite toy cleaner. It should be checked for cracks and chips before use, and should be discarded if any are found. It can be stored in the pouch it comes in and tucks away easily into a drawer or toy box. Since it’s glass, any lube you prefer can be used.

The Wizard comes inside its red, velvet-like, drawstring storage pouch. Inside, it’s wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it during shipping. The bubble wrap can be discarded or, since the pouch isn’t padded, you can save it to wrap the Wizard in when inside the pouch, especially when traveling. The toy fits completely inside the pouch.

The first thing that drew me to this glass toy was the color. I’ve been on an alternative color kick, and while the Wizard is not quite yellow, the color is a nice amber. Well, I’d describe the color as amber – my husband thought it looked about the color of his beer. Either way, it’s nice, and it’s an unusual shade to find in glass.

I love the fact that this is truly double ended, with each end being different. The tapered end I prefer anally, as it’s the size I like to use when starting out, and I like the way the shaft seems to gently stretch me as it goes in from the narrower “neck”. I don’t like my husband to thrust the entire toy, but rather to move the shaft in and out, leaving the bulbed head in. Vaginally I prefer inserting the rounded end because of its girth, but my husband prefers holding onto that end for better control.

I also like using this for temperature play, as it really changes the sensation.
