The Texture Scepter
This fun, handled, dildo belongs in everyone's toy chest. The size was narrow for this size queen, but with the addition of a butt plug, it blew me away. Great to use alone, with or on a partner. It works well both vaginally and anally. The handle on this thing is so simple, yet hard to find. It sets this dildo apart from others.

Pros
The texture, the handle, the glossy finish on the dildo
Cons
May be too narrow for Size Queens or Kings
Uses: The Echo Handle is a handy little number. I say little because it is on the slim side. I'm a bit of a size queen, and by itself the Echo Handle left me wanting. When I used it with a butt plug, it was a completely different story. The ridges bump the g-spot over and over. I can only imagine how fantastic this would feel on the prostate. The flared base of the handle makes it safe for anal. Each ridge feels amazing back there. It's slim enough for a beginner or intermediate, and the texture makes it great for advanced players too. The handle's flexibility makes it easy to use solo or with/on a partner. It also opens up the doors for many different positions. If you can reach it, you can use it.
DO NOT USE WITH SILICONE LUBE!!! IT MAY DAMAGE THE TOY!!! If you insist, make sure to spot test where it isn't insertable.
Material/Texture: The Echo Handle is made of Tantus' 100% platinum silicone. It's a completely sterilizable material that rates a 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. The insertable portion of the Echo Handle has a glossy texture to it. It still has some drag to it, but nothing a little water-based lube can't fix. At the end of the dildo portion, it immediately turns into a matte finish. This is where the handle starts. The matte finish makes it great for your grip, whether or not you get lube on your hands. There is no real give to either the dildo portion or the handle. What you see is what you get. The flexibility of the dildo portion is somewhat limited. With a little elbow grease you can bend it. It's most pliant where the handle meets the dildo. The actual handle does does have some flexibility to it, making it easier for you or a partner to use it.
The texture is the real attention grabber. There are six smooth ridges run from the bulbous head to just short of the end of the dildo portion. They're wide and well spaced. They go nearly all the way around the dildo. On the underside, the ridges run into a very smooth line that runs the entire length. This makes it very comfortable and not overwhelming when in use. At the bottom front of the handle, Tantus has etched its logo. It doesn't get in the way of use, and is very easy to clean.
Design/Shape/Size: The design of The Echo Handle is that of a Texture Scepter. It's handle makes it easy to grip while you work your subject into a frenzy. The soft, rounded ridges make it so that when you thrust you hit the g-spot or p-spot continually. The bulbous head is large in length and the first ridge is angled, making it great for insertion and for pin pointing the g-spot or p-spot. The following five ridges replicate that first sensation. I'm not assuming that you're going to hit all 6 ridges on your g-spot or p-spot, but it does feel good on the opening of the vagina and the sphincter.
The handle is a what makes the Echo portion so easy to, well, handle! The extra length is great for those that tire of having to reach down for solo play, and is fantastic for those who's hands tire from using it on a partner. The matte finish and the finger ridges give it a solid grip. You can maintain your grip if you get lube on your hands, or if it's slick with bodily fluids. Which is nice, as reaching for a towel every time can be quite bothersome.
Overall length - 11 1/4"
Insertable length - 7"
Dildo circumference large - 4 3/4"
Dildo circumference small - 4 3/8"
Base width -1 7/8"

Experience
Performance: I use toys primarily by myself, so when I saw the Echo in a handle, I had to have it. First time I tried it, I wasn't all that impressed. As I stated before, I'm a bit of a size queen. So I was really disappointed. When I tried it with my Mood Naughty Plug large, I was able to see what the hype was all about. Every ridge stimulated me in a different way. Obviously because they're hitting different places along the vaginal canal. Still, I was left going "Wooow". Since I like to try my toys anally before writing a review, and I already had a plug in place, I decided to give the Echo Handle a go. I'm so glad I did! The bumps along the shaft, with the glossy finish made for extremely comfortable anal play. The fact that the ridges are so nicely spread out, makes for a nice popping sensations with each thrust. It almost acts as an anal probe. Now, the handle. The handle is what makes it so nice for me to use solo. Whether I choose to use it vaginally or anally, I know I have a solid grip. Then of course there is always the fun of waving it around, maniacally.
Care and Maintenance: One of my favorite things about silicone is that it's completely sterilizable and extremely easy to clean. To clean you can use soap or toy cleaner and water. To sterilize, you can boil it in water for 3-5 minutes (if you can find a stock pot big enough), soak it in a 10% bleach solution, or put it in the dishwasher. I personally boil (I have a huge stock pot), and bleach. Storing the Echo Handle can prove to be a bit of hassle, as it is so large. You can use the packaging to store it, but I found it to be cumbersome. I bought a small, long plastic storage box, that I keep all of my Tantus' dildos in.
Packaging: The Echo Handle comes in Tantus' standard packaging. It's clear and orange in the front, displaying the toy. The back is opaque and orange, with Tantus' mission statement and information about the fabulousness of silicone. The Echo Handle can be difficult to store, but if you throw out the clam shell positioner and store it in the box. I personally put the packing in with the recycling.

Can the handle act as a dildo too for added length? | 9 |
Thank you for viewing Echo handle – g-spot dildo discontinued review page!
DO NOT PUT ANY SILICONE ON ANY "TEST SPOT"; IF YOU DO, YOU WILL RUIN THE WHOLE THING!
"It may damage the toy" doesn't begin to tell the truth; if you get even the tiniest amount of silicone lubricant or any substance containing even a molecule of any form of silicone on this dildo or any other silicone dildo, the dildo is FINISHED. First, the surface will get sticky and gooey and eventually the whole thing will do a kind of melt down into a glob of goo and have to be thrown away. Use only water-based lubricants and check the ingredients label carefully before you use them.
