The Magic Wand
This item is pretty much exactly what the description says it is. It is a great, albeit simple wand for playing, plus it has a lovely design on the handle. Though, it is limited on what you can do, function wise, because of the design and because it is made of glass. You can’t use a vibrator or egg.

Pros
Easy to use, smooth texture, great for temperature play.
Cons
Very slender, simple design.
If you’re looking for a product that can take care of you vaginally, anally or both, the Pinky Color Swirl wand might just do the trick. While this glass wand is uncomplicated, it is big enough to provide pleasure, but slender enough to still be comfortable in tight places. With a unique swirl that’s handcrafted and unique to each toy, you’re sure to do magic with the Pinky Color Swirl!
This wand is made out of borosilicate glass, otherwise known as Pyrex, the Pinky Color Swirl has a safety rating of ten and is non-porous. Borosilicate glass is made up of boron, sand, soda and ground lime. Because it isn’t as dense as regular glass, if this wand breaks, it would break or snap into larger pieces, making it somewhat safer should an accident happen.
The surface of the Pinky Color Swirl is smooth glass. There is no texture on this toy, which makes it very convenient when lubricants are not handy. The toy offers very little, if any resistance upon insertion.
The Pinky Color Swirl has a generous seven inches of insertable length and is a nice, long plus to your toy chest. An additional inch is provided by the very colorful and unique knob at the end, which is very convenient for holding your toy. Despite the length, the wand only weights 1/3 of a pound, which is only 4.8 ounces. The diameter of the Pink Color Swirl is 1 3/8 while the circumference is 4 1/4, meaning this toy isn’t as girthy as some others. More advanced users may feel that the slender design of the Pink Color Swirl isn’t as satisfying. Though, the hard surface and lack of flexibility may be too much for those just starting out. Despite this, beginners may find the smooth texture and slender design a big positive over larger toys.
Another reason this wand may be good for beginners is because of the simple, straight design. There isn’t much functionality to the Pink Color Swirl. Though, this wand responds well to different temperatures and can enhance your play due to that. The straight shape is not optimal for g-spot stimulation, however with the wide knob head, some people may be able to stimulate this area. Due to the nature of the material, this can be used for anal play as well if cleaned between uses.
Since this toy is made out of pyrex glass and isn’t porous, it’s very easy to care for. To effectively disinfect and clean your Pinky Color Swirl, you can use soap and water. You can also use a sex toy cleaner, which is made if isopropyl alcohol and will effectively disinfect your toy. Though, it is still good to use condoms if you are sharing with anyone.
Because this toy is made out of a non-porous material, you can safely use your favorite lubricant without being concerned about the base or material of the toy.
When I got this, I was pleasantly surprised with the Pinky Color Swirl’s packaging. Rather than being loosely packaged, free to roll around, or held in place by hard product packaging plastic, the glass toy came in a white, long box, much like a jewelry box, and generously wrapped in pink paper. It fit in the box very snugly and there hadn’t been any room for the wand to potentially break. The best part about this, beyond the safety for shipping, is that it’s easy to reuse the box and paper. The box, while long, fits easily in my toy box and is very convenient.

Follow-up commentary
6 months after original review
I still really like my wand. Artistically it appeals to me because of the colors featured in the ball/handle area, but as far as functionality goes, I still like it. Not being able to use a vibrator easily with it is a slight negative, but I knew about that before so that isn't an issue. After reading some replies on the forum, I did begin to get a little nervous using glass. However, like any toy, I handle my wand with care while using it. I've found that the benefits, namely feeling comfortable with the hygienic factor, outweigh my nervousness.
The Pinky Color Swirl is still a plus in my book!
