That Groovy Feeling
If you have a lot of toys and are looking for something strongly textured the Allegro may be your next toy! But if you're on a budget and want only those with a high likelihood of success - I would recommend this one.

Pros
Well made and modestly sized
Cons
It could be too much texture for some
I buy toys for my wife. She loves glass and, generally speaking, likes texture - so the Allegro seemed like a natural. The Allegro is inexpensive compared to other glass toys, so as expected there was no exotic packaging - just the standard plastic protective rectangle.
The dimensions are precisely as reported in the EF description - the fairly modest diameter of 1-1/4" to 1-3/8" is appropriate for the intensity of the grooved surface. The glass is obviously solid and the toy well made. Like with many glass and silicone dildos, the wavy shape adds its own level of sensation when thrusting.
The shape is well done for finding the g-spot. Since the grooves are full length, they make holding on to the end a little easier than it would be if it were smooth - especially if you're using lube; I couldn't imagine using something this sharply textured without lube.
Either end can be used for penetration, with one end having a sphere and the other slightly pointed. Both work equally well for penetration, but probably not during the same session unless you have something handy to clean off some of the lube.
Clean up for glass toys is usually a snap, but the groves that cover 100% of this toy mean that you need to use plenty of soap and hot water to make sure to get all of the groves clean enough for the next use. I never thought of putting a toy in the dishwasher, but that may be a good idea for the Allegro.
I rated the Allegro lower than any other reviewer; see the experience section below for an explanation of why. There is nothing inherently wrong with the Allegro; it's well made, but even if you like 'some texture' the Allegro may be too much for you - it was for my wife.
We have the Silenzo which has a similar wavy shape - but without the grooves - a better choice for those looking for an inexpensive glass toy. You can check out my review on this product here [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/dildos/a-glass-gem-for-every-budget]

Experience
The first time we used the Allegro my wife found the ridges a bit challenging - so, as advised by other EF reviewers, I slowed the pace a bit and found that it worked quite well leading to a vibe-assisted orgasm for my lady.
The second time, however, was a different story. No amount of lube or pace could keep it from being too rough. She simply said never again. We have too many more pleasant options, so there is no need to risk the potentially severe irritation.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
The texture of the Allegro turned out to be too much for my wife - I have since done a swap for the SinFive Vuali - and we're 110% pleased with the results. We went from a product we rarely use - to one that is at the top of the list!
