Use
As with my other toys, I lubricated Mikey with Bodywise’s Maximus lube, which is reliable, very slippery and very easy to clean. I found Mikey very easy to insert anally because of the slick, squishy head material. The general squishiness of the toy helped minimize any discomfort while the heft and stiffness of the core material made it feel substantial. Also, because of the smooth, but grippy texture of the shaft, thrusting Mikey creates a lot of good sensations.

Material and texture
Mikey is from Tantus’ O2 line, meaning it is made of pure silicone and has different densities at the core and outside of the toy. Mikey’s head is a slick-finish silicone that has no stiff core, making it quite soft and squishy. The shaft is made out of a matte-finish silicone that has a stiff, high-density core, giving it an initially squishy feel that becomes firmer with more pressure.

Design, Shape, and Size
I found Mikey’s girth to be satisfying and pleasurable without being painful to insert or keep inserted. A few times I wished Mikey was a bit longer, but the toy is long enough to stimulate the prostate, so I still found it enjoyable. The soft head and soft outer material of the shaft give during insertion, keeping the anal opening from getting sore during use. Mikey’s shape also eases anal entry, as it is very simple with almost no edges or ridges. The base is flared, making Mikey safe for anal use and suitable for use in strap-on harnesses. However, there is no hole in the base like there are with some other Tantus toys, so you can’t use a bullet vibrator or suction cup with Mikey.

Care and Maintenance
As with any high quality silicone toy, Mikey can be cleaned with a mild soapy mixture, by boiling, or by placing it in the dishwasher. I found that a mild soapy mixture along with toy wipes was the only necessary cleaning most of the time. Because there are not any strong edges on Mikey, there’s nowhere for bodily fluids to get trapped, even during anal use.
